EPTHSL proudly presents the 2nd Season of the Hellenic Starcraft 2 League.
This tournament will last for the next 3 months, starting on the 25th of September and finishing at on 17th of December.
Players from all the Bnet Divisions and races are accepted as long as they can play on the European Server.
1. General rules

1.1 Players will be placed under seeding based on their Bnet ranking evaluated by the HSL Admins.
1.2 The Playweek for the HSL Season 2 is Monday to Sunday. Each player must play 1 match per week. At the play-offs there will be more than 1 game per week.
1.3 All games must be played on Sunday at 19:00 CET, but any game can be played at any time during the week and before that time. The results must be submitted until Sunday 23:59, otherwise a wildcard or a default-loss will be given to the player who was absent.
If your opponent does not appear for the game you should immediately report it to the admins.
1.4 The communication between opponents is the players' responsibility and can be accomplished through battle.net or PM on the site. The HSL admins will contact the players about their games only if these games will be broadcasted by the HSLTV. If a player cannot play the game during the week or cannot contact his opponent, he must advice the admins about it.
It is the player's responsibility to contact his opponent and arrange the game earlier in the week, if he cannot play on Sunday.
1.5 Each player is entitled to 1 wildcard. This card can be used during the group phase, if a player is unavailable for game during that week. The postponed game should be played the following week, otherwise will be granted a default loss.
If a player has used the wildcard and is absent from another game, he will be automatically given a default loss.
1.6 After the game the winner must submit the result at the HSL site and upload the replays as: Name1VsName2GameX.
1.9 Observers will not be allowed at the games that will be broadcasted live by the HSL TV. For all other games observers will be allowed only if both players agree.

3.The Games

3.1 The Matches are 1vs1 Best-of-3 (Bo3)
3.2 The divisions Finals and the games of the Final Four, except the final will be Best-of-5 (Bo5)
3.3 The Final is Best-of-7 (Bo7). The player who comes from the Winners' Bracket begins the series winning 1-0.
3.5 If a set draws the score remains unchanged and the game resumes at the same map.

The vote out will begin by the lower seeded player, which will remove a map from the 8 remaining, then the higher seeded player will remove the next map . The process will stop when 2 maps remain. After the first game the losing player will choose 1 of the 2 maps that are left. If a third gameis required, it will be played at the that has left available.

5. Coverage
HSL TV will broadcast games on a weekly basis using 2 livestreams both embed to the TL site. The program will be announced at the HSL home page.
6.The Bad Stuff

6.1 Accusations of cheating should be supported by an appropriate replay. If it turns out to be true, the cheating player will be banned from the HSL forever.
6.2 If a player disconnects from the game, a rematch will be made if there was no visual contact between opponents. If there is visual contact the set is given to the connected player.
6.3 HSL asks for the appropriate behavior by everyone. Flame, spam or verbal attacks may lead to exclusion from the League.

7.Agreement

7.1 Registering for the tournament means that you have read and accept the above rules of the competition.
7.2 The HSL reserves the right to unilaterally change the rules during the tournament, if the admins realize that there is some kind of injustice or anything else that affects the merit of the event.

The registration period ends on the 17th of September 22:59 CET.
Non-Greek Players that want to register must take notice:
1. Non-Greek players will be accepted as long as there are open slots in the divisions, so you will receive an email if you are accepted in the tournament.
2. HSL doesn’t cover expenses for traveling costs and accommodation, any non-Greek player that can qualify to the Final Four of the tournament must pay the expenses to travel to Greece for the LAN event. Otherwise the open slot at the Final Four will be taken by the next available player.
