First game, holy crap Jinro manhandled Fruitdealer, absolute distruction. Awesome multitasking. Maybe some Zerg players can explain to me, because I've never understood, why do Zerg players keep taking more bases when they don't evne have enough drones to saturate the ones they have? MC vs. Losira was pretty silly, thought MC could take it after the huge baneling mine but fell apart. I really liked July's baneling play and the thing I liked most was how he actually got upgrades, zergs always let upgrades slip and usually end up with +1 or +2 for the whole game. Boxer fought back insanely well, it was actually a really good game, I love scrappy games like that. Down to the wire. A lot of players would of gg'd halfway through the game but Boxer stayed in it, so awesome. Marineking is pretty good as Protoss, really likes his upgrades although MMA probably would of won at the start with those few marauders ahd he decided to push into the base. Huk vs. Nestea wow, Nestea played greedy but HuK caught him offguard without a doubt, really awesome play. Engine and Mr.Che (as always) were hilarious during the whole all-star event as well. Overall a really entertaining event, especially boxer vs. july and Jinro destroying FD. Also Johns translating debut was pretty funny. I didn't expect such a one-sided score for the all-star match. Now on to the finals, my thought going into it was a 4-2 for MvP because I feel like Top is really underrated and he is really sick TvT. If he nerves hold up he can take games no problem. Game 1- Holy crap, that was such a sick game, highly recommend watching that one, can't believe both players had identical stratagies however I think Top lost because he overmade ravens and then when he did seeker missile he wasted too many on thors and not enough on the vikings (when he rushed in he could of obliterated them) also the huge doom drop on Top's main was sick, just holy crap sick game. 5/5 The news segment thing was pretty random but I thought it was pretty cool, nice initiative by Gom. Game 2- What seemed like a strong attack by Top went really bad, I felt like if he had landed the vikings in the one engagement and killed the hellions he could of won. Pretty bad game 1.5/5 Game 3- Bad attack by Top, I still think people aren't utilising landed viking enough, again they could of taken out all those blue flames, saved the marines, continued the push. Not like the vikings were shooting anything in the air. Thought Top was making a comeback but MvP just crushed that, 1.5-2/5 At this point in the game I'm starting to feel like game 1 has crushed Top's confidence, I don't understand why he stopped going blue flames when you really need those in TvT right now. Game 4- Really sweet timing attack by Top, he really handled Mvp that game, I thought he might be in trouble and do what happened against Polt, almost threw it away but he is just so solid in his macro, always has an army streaming up, 3-3.5/5 for me. Game 5- Smart switch by Mvp, I don't understand why people say bio is so inferior to mech, Hellions are literally useless against marauders, marauders can fight tanks fine, it's incredibly mobile. Oh well, Mvp destroyed, pretty expected. 3/5 cause it was the last game and Mvp played so well. Better finals then the last few, mainly because of that first game. I felt so bad for Top when it showed him in his booth. Congrats Mvp, best player. Recommended games for the entire day are Jinro vs. FD, Boxer vs. July (especially) HuK vs. Nestea if you are a huk fan, Mvp vs. Top game 1 and maybe 4. Man that was a long day of starcraft, all that in one go. Losira vs. MC offrace was pretty funny too. | ||

I would assume, without seeing the match, that it's for the extra larva and because he was floating a decent amount of minerals. | ||
