MMA and MKP were chatting all the time and having a good time. This was not competitive, it was just exhibition.

I wonder how long this is going to last ![]() As long as players can troll each other during group selection. If GomTV actually decide to implement a decent seeding system, then we might see two players of equal skill fighting it out in the final.

I wonder how long this is going to last ![]() Until they start seeding the groups and brackets I would guess. .... Why do people keep saying this? Who would of been a better match for MVP? Nestea? MVP is 8-1 against him... Please do enlighten. The only player I can possibly think of is MAYBE Bomber - but even if they were seeded on opposite sides of the bracket it doesn't guarantee Bomber will make it to the finals... Anyway, onesided finals happen alot, people just seem to only think they happen in GSL. MLG has had onesided finals(as well as the later games in the tournament) for the last while, IEM was 3-0( and 3-0 through most of the non-pool play games) etc etc.

Summary includes results (you can work it out). + Show Spoiler + Game 1: incredible game, missed the early game but the late game was wondrous to watch. MVP does an incredible thor + ghost drop on TOP's production, with ghosts nuking almost everything, then proceeds to take the middle of the map when TOP pulls back to defend. Game 2: TOP goes for an all-in but leaves his depot lowered - line 'em up. And MVP holds anyway. Game 3: MVP gets a minor advantage, makes a mistake, but then just kills TOP's tank line with sick thor spread. Game 4: TOP uses the same(ish) strat as in game 2 to pressure MVP's early expo, this time it does damage, and he proceeds to win the game later on, even though MVP was pretty boss with breaking tank lines time and time again. Game 5: Map is Terminus, MVP goes bio, TOP goes mech. MVP continually outmaneuvers TOP and expands every -> becomes champion.

Imo why would you not wanna beat what i consider the best player in the world in HuK? because nestea gets gsl throught eh easiest opponents known to man. Koreans arent that good. Easy peazy Yeah, MKP is afraid of MMA so he played protoss instead!+ Show Spoiler + It's supposed to be a fun match, thats why people were playing offrace and chatting during games.... Reminds me of the WC teamleague when San used Carriers against Sen and MVP went BC's against Dimaga and people somehow thought it was super serious -_-

MC vs Losira - Losira wins a pretty standard TvZ (both offracing), memorable moments include MC's burrowed banelings, Losira's marine splits, and Losira's manual dancing as he moonwalks to victory. July vs Boxer - July runs over Boxer repeatedly with a huge amount of banelings. Then realises he's messed around too much blowing things up and Boxer eventually wins since July can't stop his PF from mining. MMA vs MKP - MMA puts MKP in huge trouble early when he catches a stalker for free with MKP trying to 1gate fe. He lets him live. Lots of number 2 related banter. MKP smashes MMA with a gateway timing push but backs up to repay the favour of mercy. MMA is miles behind though, some spirited drops and emp's keep things fun before MKP rolls him. MKP does the kong dance. NesTea vs Huk - Huk goes nex first or something, NesTea instantly takes a third at the gold. NesTea doesn't bother making detection in his nat despite building 2 spores elsewhre, dies to a blink + dt all in. NesTea says later he didn't think Huk would be playing so seriouly. ---- MVP vs TOP game 1 - One of the great TvT's of starcraft 2. Given this should be a free VOD there's no excuse not to just sit and watch it. Stunning. game 2 - TOP's fast siege push looks like really threatening MVP, MVP picks off some marines but it doesn't look too good...until TOP leaves his depots down and MVP's hellions counter into his main and kill all the scv's/ game 3 - MVP shuts down another fast siege push and at this point he's looking impervious to everything. Scouts 1 hidden third but lets another getup giving a lifeline to TOP who's now committing pretty heavily to sky Terran. MVP's first mistake of the day happens when he thinks he can attack TOP's nat and fails...it doesn't matter though, a little while later TOP attempts to move out and MVP utterly crushes him with huge numbers of Thors and Vikings. game 4 - Depressingly I missed the early game of this, but TOP got himself into a great position with a really good push at MVP's nat. MVP cleans it up but loses a ton of SCV's setting him firmly behind. This pattern repeats regularly, TOP making pushes that no one thinks MVP can hold...only for MVP to hold them thanks to great flanks and sacrificial SCV's. Eventually it gets too much though and MVP has to tap out. game 5 - MVP mixes things up and for the first time in the series we have someone go bio. The early/mid game is mostly a good demonstration of how to get ahead without actually committing anything other than a couple of drop ships...then MVP blew some minds with the sickest PDD drop into an otherwise well turreted main. Destroyed a ton of production, forced TOP out of position while he attacked the fourth, backed up to a stalemate, bust some tanks with incredible bio flanks, took the map, and as TOP tried one desperation push absolutely smashed one final siege line to clinch victory. All in all the series was a fantastic example of incredible decision making and generally high level TvT. It was one sided, but the games were great for the most part =)
