That's why TOP's tank line failed, too much open space on Xel'naga Fortress in the middle of the map which allowed the Thors to close in and steam roll. He needed a choke or terrain advantage for it to work.

This looks like a remake of the last finals. The games individually are pretty good, Losira and Top are fucking good, but MVP and Nestea are just untouchable.

this gsl is the most impressive run in gsl history. looks like he's going to lose only 1 game throughout the whole tournament, just like his gsl jan run. however, the opponents he had to go through this tournament was absolutely INSANE

Iirc, MVP beat Flash in TvT not long before switching to sc2. In a long game I don't see any terran taht can beat him, maybe Bomber or Keen. He's just so fukken solid, his macro looks like a Zerg... Meh.

I figure that getting to prepare extensively for a single opponent 'increases' the basic skill difference to begin with. Lopsided finals are more or less a result of the format.
