The following is a list of behaviors that will get immediate bans:
1. Whining about stream 2. Bashing other games 3. Flaming other users 4. Bashing players 5. Complaining about imbalance
Basically just be respectful. Aside from that, enjoy the games, make sure you bring an umbrella and have some delicious waffles! (#) |
A roach Warren is being made and speed is on the way.

Bomber researches blue flame. His hellions killed about 6 workers and scouted the roach Warren.

This observer sucks...it's just so jagged and I feel like I'm missing a lot, and he isn't accurate or using the minimap or controls at all.

Bomber gets combat shields, Haypro gets banelings.

Probably less than 10 minutes.
No, i meant that k9 go on casting the 3rd match of Puma vs ret. Sure, if it takes 50min, that sucks for both and they will have a shorter break. But be honest, most games do not last that long and the times they do, ok, it still sucks but a guess they casters can handle it. I saw many times tennis matches on TV with ridiculous outcomes, but they nearly never stopped the broadcast during such a match. Guess some extra money for the commentators and it's ok for everyone. And on the 2nd Stream Tastosis can start Bomber vs Haypro at the scheduled time.

I like haypro but this is kind of a waste of stream time
|
Haypro attacks with roaches, lings and banelings. Only the lings have speed and most of the units die while a lot of banelings run into a tank.
|
Haypro engages again but only takes out supply depots.

But what happens if the game does go long enough and way past the next scheduled game?
Some viewers might want to tune in to a particular game at a specified time and they are left disappointed because the game got replaced instead. And obviously MLG can't leave or look away from a game that is 50 minutes in cause that will leave the viewers hanging.

haypro really needs to practise more before going to tournies like this, I toy with the guy in ladder and win easely. He really needs to get his skill level up because rapes like this are just really demotivating and dont do your carreer any good. Hes a good BW foreinger and can defenatly win something but not in the way he practises and randomly goes to tournies like he is doing now.
I like the guy but this is just so painful to watch

But how often would this happen? There are still 5-10 mins break between games, lets say 15min for breaks before and after. 25mins for a standard BO3 should be even less than the real time, so sure, if there is a 50min game, yee, thats a problem. But one, mb 2 times/MLG? In my opinion waiting everytime after one match is much more annoying. And tommorow it will get even worse. There will be such great games and we won't be able to see all of them, even with two streams. It's sad.
And it's still discutable to engage a 3rd caster team...
Well, but enough discussion, missed the games, so my whole complainment is ambivalent. ^^ Cya dudes!

It throws off the entire schedule, not only of the stream, but other games. There are tons of games at MLG and they can't just screw up the schedule to stream an extra game here or there. And there have been quite a few long games this MLG, like 40+minute games.
The biggest reason there is so much down time is because the foreigners are getting demolished so quickly by the Koreans and falling 0-2. If they were better games, there would be less downtime.

hey guys do you think we will see Kiwikaki on blue or red stream 2d?

Damn, last one. ^^ Casters r sport commentators. And in many sports they "cast" much longer than the time of a BO3, without any breaks. So It think it should be possible. But sure, that's a points that cannot be proved without some scientific reasearches about sport commentators voices, and if you cannot show me any studies ( i cannot show you any), there is no further ground for discussion i guess.
Finally good bye from good old Germany.
