You are wrong sir. HuK did not play in Blizz EU Inv. He did play in US part of it tho.

He was in Helsinki for something.

I think:
Anaheim - Korea - Assembly - Netherlands (to practice at Nazgul) - NA Blizzard - Code S - IEM

this within a month is already too much in my opinion

I think it is definitely the reason of his bad results.. Flying that much really hurts people. He is not a robot, we should understand that. More importantly he should understand that. There are so many tournaments in the scene, it never happened before in any pro scene..
Players should adapt to that and select tournaments to enter..

MC is slacking (i mean not winning everything is slacking for MC:p) also because of it i believe..

I am very happy that Huk advanced to RO16!

Gogo get some rest and sleep HUK!

Personally disagree. Dreamhack and HSC3 Huk was playing a style of Protoss that non Koreans were clueless on (ask Nani). Now that his strat isn't unique anymore he isn't winning. He was sort of lucky those 2 events were scheduled so close to each other.

You think that the only reason he won was because of unique strategies? I guess thats why he is still in the GSL. Must be luck and not the fact that he is extremely skilled.

I'm confused, what is the link for the vods? OP isn't that great. Really lacking recommended games and obvious links to VODs.

On that note, which games should I try to watch?

edit: Found the VODs, don't like the website at all though. -_-

he said Dreamhack and HSC3 worked for HuK because he was playing NON-Koreans. then you countered by bringing up GSL? get your glasses checked.

He didn't say it was the only reason. HuK is obviously skilled, but strategies might haven given him an edge. Although I'm more inclined to agree with the jetlag hypothesis.

The post said HuK was winning because foreign players weren't familiar with Korean strategies. He countered by saying HuK was also doing well against Korean players (who presumably knew about these strategies). Perfectly valid logic.

The guy said that he was only winning because non-koreans were unfamiliar with HuK's strategies - so he countered by giving evidence of HuK's success against koreans who would be familiar with these strategies. This is a natural counter-argument....I think you're the one that needs to get his head checked....

Mana won group D? What a boss. So beastly these days. 2nd at Assembly, 3rd in IPL3, and now at worst 4th in IEM (sorry Moonglade).

BM pylons when he was down 0-1, proceeds to lose series. Karma bro

Ya those Pylons were totally BM...

What is wrong with this community? ._.

Huk's pylons were not necessarily BM, but they're not definitely not GM or "professional" in any way. It is basically an in-game ceremony, but he's doing it in the middle of a series (that he lost) and in the middle of group stage (which he also lost). It makes him look rather foolish I would say. You do ceremonies after you win the stage or possibly series, not in the middle of it. I remember Huk doing this in some other recent tourney that he lost too, and figured he would have learned better. But apparently being "cute" is more important than focusing on winning and being a professional.

just watched all replays. Jeezus nerchio is sick, outplayed everyone soooooo hard (games w/ Tarson was really awesome and intense sure) Too bad stephano lost, he played pretty good too (way better than moonglade for example)
MaNa's every matchup (well except pvp) - make colossus, make mass expo, make ht's, win ))) solid as a rock

You must have missed the part where MC and Puma are in this tourney. MC isn't called Godtoss and the most successful player in the world because huk is better tahn him...

Best player in the tournament doesnt go 0-3 maybe you and alot of other american are just overhyping you players so much its allmost impossible to live upto you expection just look at Idra he still got a million fans that think he is the best zerg outside of korea when in reality there is like 9 EU zerg infront of him and 1 NA

To much hype tbh dont get me wrong Huk is a very very good player he just had a bad day
