i love the people saying puma is on a different level. did they see game 1? puma lost it and looked like a noob. then he played 2 allins and won wow hes really sooooo goood

yea cuz allins are not a part of this game

The drop in game 3 wasn't all in. People need to stop calling any for of offense an all in. Two medi's of marines can be lost without it losing you the game. Its not ideal, but that is a harass, not a god damned all in.

Losing a double medivac drop that early without doing much damage is actually a lot worse than ideal and isn't simple "harass". Harass implies it can do damage or if it doesn't at least give you potential positional favour. Pumas play needed to do lots of damage if he lost the drops. So while not being say an scv pull type thing it's still vital to not lose them.

I don't think there was a big risk of losing it though. If Steph had prepared he'd either drop a little then lift and leave, or just walk away.

I disagree. I think Puma is on another level. His results show it as well, quite clearly. Not saying Stephano is bad, he is definitely an up and comer, and he played brilliantly the first game.

Great games nonetheless. Even though the 3rd was a bit short.

Puma only has one result. I don't get how he has become this "amazing Terran with so many accomplishments". He is really good but you can't say he is on another level based from anyone based on ONE result ;(. They both really good players and it was a really tight series.

Basically if you asked any Korean before who they wanted to practice with T.... it woulda been Puma.

I don't know what kind of flack he has gotten for joining EG but he was everyone's go to practice partner.

Where do you get this information from? And again the guy said based on results Puma is on another level when he only has one actual result. That is different to saying "based on what I perceive he is like in practice he is on another level".

Also what has this got to do with EG?

He has lots of results. When i say result i just mean maybe beating a certain player, it doesnt have to be a massive LAN result. But yea beating some of the top top koreans like MC, being the practice partner for Flash, it does put you at another level in my opinion. Oh, and winning the NASL ofc

I don't have any. Don't have it while watching on TL and don't have it when watching on twitch, seriously i consider not waching this tournament because of this shit.

Overall, this series was an interesting and tense display of skill between these two very talented progammers, can't we just be happy with that ^^.

Not to mention not getting hive for about 35 minuts despite sitting on 8K/3K.

Series was a trainwreck, although still fairly entertaining, especially the last game

Mana has beaten Sase 2:0, so therefore Mana and Puma are the top two in group D. next match to decide the #1 seed Puma vs Mana. Final match unnecessary.

Spolier not really necessary considering they just said it on stream.... heh

Yes, but not for the reason you are thinking of (I guess). Korea is already Terran infested. Would love to see some more high level Protoss and Zerg Koreans.

It is widely known that he was the go to practice partner for Flash, and is known for having AMAZING games in practice but his nerves are to blame for him being held back in tournaments.

It is widely known for being a practice partner for Flash. Flash doesn't play SC2. From what remember from Korean interviews I don't remember his name being mentioned a lot like say Happy for IM guys so I'm wondering where this information that everyone in Korea wants to practice with him comes from.

I'm fairly certain Artosis and Tasteless mentioned it during GSL one time. Artosis was saying that Puma was the most sought after practice partner before we switched to SC2. But yes, it's safe to say that Puma is "on a different level" than Stephano.

Agreed. I was disappointed in that series. Just look at the difference in Stephano and PuMa. Huk and moonglade looked terrible compared to that.
