I think he means that they could fight with the Koreans, while the BW foreigners were basically on their own scene.

I never said a bad rating player in bw couldn't be good in sc2. I'm just saying an A+ in bw that didn't suffer a physical or mental injury could make grandmasters in sc2.

OMG, I thought this discussion about BW>WC3 was done. With all the former WC3 players doing so well in SC2 (Naniwa, Kiwikaki, Thorzain,...,...,...)
