When did Thorzain beat MC on lan?

don't think he has, but MC was playing on europe in their TSL series which is probably what he meant

Why would Thorzain/Naniwa flew out to Korea 1 day before their matches, even though they knew about them 2 months prior!?!?! Probably because of the Blizzard EU invitational... But I think that was what cost them Code A. 20+ hour flight, 10 timezones, really? You have to get your priorities right... do you want to win some money from minor EU tourneys, get a vacation in Korea and continue with your life or be the best? Despite all the talk I think it's the former... They even had an example in FXO, who did the same mistake, but just after several weeks they improved drastically!
I'm really disappointed because Thorzain/Naniwa have so much talent and I'm certain they'll get even better but getting out of Code B is almost as hard as winning Code A.

Don't understand why people are so suprised tbh...

Next season though I think we will see more of the swedes true potential, when they have had some time to practice, got comfortable in korea, got rid of jetlag and so on.
For example, Nani said he has got very little practice the last 2-3 weeks due to cleaning/selling his apartment, preparing for moving to korea, playing mlg, playing Bnet inv. etc.

Naniwa and Thorzain have been in Korea for 3 days? Kind of ass timing to play your first GSL match.

Nani and sase at the very least are in it for the long haul, they'll be staying in korea for a long time and I don't think they care much whether they failed in the first code A. The purpose of going to korea for them is becoming better players and that won't happen right away, so..

Oh damn. Everyone lost.

I was kind of afraid that Nani and Thorzain would lose after hearing they would be at the Blizzard invitational a few days before their Code A matches. It's impossible to recover from the huge jetlag that quickly and I think it was clearly showing. Neither of them was playing on their own level.

Such a shame really as the original plan was that they would've been in Korea weeks earlier to get adjusted.

Better luck next time. And better be rested and ready then.

Oh damn... they were like the best foreigners and they got smashed :O losing hope for the foreigner scene! MOAR PRACTICE

Would have thought Naniwa would have put up a better fight. He seems to go stargate like every game vs zerg.

After the first game I thought Thorzain had the series

No, some of us voted with heart. I had a feeling ThorZain and NaNi would lose because of jet-lag and lack of Korean practice but voted for them anyway. I expect them to be tearing it up next season though.

I'm hoping for HongUn, Huk and Trickster to go to the Up&Downs. That would finally force Blizzard to do something about THE PROBLEM.

Next season? Are they already seeded into it or something?

I think losing in rd of 32 is pretty bad. Not because it's a bad result in and of itself, but because you lose your code A spot, and we all know how goddamn hard it can be to win that spot.
