And so Nani is our best foreigner? It's HuK. He is all alone "up there" might need idra to come back :D Nani is way better than IdrA, so IdrA wouldn't be able to win anything in Korea now. Idra is the only foreigner with results in the GSL. Jinro has come closest with a Ro4 showing in the GSL, but idra had consistency crazy foo
Idra never got passed the round of 16 cept once, and jinro had 2 top 4s.

I'm glad Naniwa and Sase have the passion to get better. They said they expected to lose but they're staying in Korea until they get good or die. That's an awesome mindset. If you look at my comment after Thorzain lost on metal it should read something like: "Close air metal is so fucking hard". Everyone had awful maps vs Zerg, meh. Dont think I lost either game because of maps however, the gold burrow baneling can happen anywhere.
Did you leave GOM right after your games? Or do they have computers you can use there?

It's like years ago when Idra has his results and Jinro was in the ro4 twice! And in the beginning the GSL was way worse than now. Remember Artosis being in it?

Hard for protoss to move around on that last map for Naniwa. The Zerg was very aware fo that and used it his benefit by going mass mutas, something a Zerg would normally not do against a stargate opening.
Sure the swedes will be better players after a month of training, but so will all the thousands of korean players be as well. Hence, the rate of improvements during training must be higher than the rate the korean players improve.
Hard work!

There will definitely be a patch coming soon from blizzard. Protoss will be strong once again.

A bad day indeed for the foreigners. And I think what was worse is that the players they lost to are not "top tier" koreans. This shows the incredible chasm between koreans and the foreigners.
But I for one think that this is a good thing. This shows the skill divide that arises from having a superior infrastructure. This also shows that the skill ceiling of SC2 is high because I can see daylight between the best and the 2nd tier.

I expected at least one upset, but had no confidence as far as which one(s), so I just did the smart move and voted for all Koreans.
Also, how long has Jinro had his Frozen Arbiter icon? That's awesome.

So I don't know what you are saying.

Can we lay the 'Crossfire is hard for Zerg' myth to rest soon? Just check TLPD stats, zerg have a notably higher win percentage than Terran/Protoss in both matchups, and that's even with ZvT being somewhat Terran favored overall.

Level of competition today is a lot different than it was months ago. lol what, he's performed better than almost any foreigner in MLGs than anyone and the only players that were close to him were huk and naniwa. Doesnt make sense.

At this point Koreans are just earning foreign money, and foreigners who win tournaments without Koreans in it are the ones stealing money.
