Sase and Nani both have PvZ as their best matchups right? they will probably both win, but yeah yugioh is hardly a scrub, he's good.

lol, I'm pretty sure it's the worst matchup for both, but I expect them to win anyway.

It's the worst matchup of all Protoss atm.

Guess this is the way it ends beat by koreans, again. I'm really sick of this, tired of my heart breaking over and over. What is so great about a "korean" anyways, it's just a race. That word shouldn't carry so much intimidation.

How come the thread isn't full with whine about jetlag?
Because they aren't koreans going to foreign events and losing

Koreans play in States "JETLAG ISN'T AN EXCUSE"
Foreigners play in GSL "HE WOULD'VE WON IF HE WASN'T JETLAGGED"

Incorrect. IdrA never did. Huk did. Jinro was seeded into Code S in the first season. He eventually dropped down to up/down and then Code A and finally Code B.

Too much to ask for some sumamries for each of our foreign heroes as they come up?

General feeling is that he got a little lucky with game 1, and yugioh just not reacting right to that style. Tzain had very little AA at his natural and 3rd and they think it definitely should've been harassed with mutas. Game 2 & 3, they're just mildy disappointed with his overall game management. I think they were expecting more since he's touted as a top non-korean terran. Some are wishing him and fenix a nice month of sightseeing in korea :D

Nani has gone toe to toe with Losira and barely lost so this guy should be a breeze.

I think Thorzain is way behind in the TVZ metagame, he didn't use hellions as much as he should and that slow push on close-air meta is quite bad because mutas can easily reign supreme, he should've gone 2port-banshee with no cloak, it has a higher win percentage than that type of play on close-air.
The fuck? That slow push on metal is great, especially with medivacs to elevator onto the ledge. Just because he messed up a push and it cost him the game doesn't mean he should have gone for some super cheesy strat waaaaaay earlier in the game.

Pssssht. More fool them, as soon as he gets his chance, he will destroy.

they loved him prior to the actual game, i think he was getting just as much hype on the gomtv site and on playxp as on here. and then they get this series, where he wasn't as awesome as he usually is. it's more of a letdown disappointment rather than "oh well he's a scrub" thing.

so far pretty correct =/

Did you listen to everything he said? He said that a lot of times yeah, Koreans make foreigner players look like a joke, but Jinro and Thorzain played really well and that didn't happen today; although they lost, they looked almost equal to their opponents.

...who also looked like jokes. Being equal to players who arguably shouldn't be in Code A isn't saying that they're as good as or even close to average code A/S Koreans, just that they're on par with the lowest level GSL Koreans.

Because you are the person to make calls who belongs to code A, funny.

I get tired of jet lag comments. You know in advance when you'll be traveling, adjust your sleep schedule appropriately and take care of yourself. Every now and then people do have back to back tourneys in different countries, but unless that's the case jet lag is YOUR fault.

Seriously.

Ive been saying this forever. Jetlag is never an excuse.

Adjust your goddam sleep schedule when you know months in advance what your doing. These pro's Im sure do it.

The player's body is his own responsibility. Why should GOM TV be responsible?

People saying this have no idea how volatile some people's circadian rhythms can be. You can't just account for everything and have perfect control over it. Jetlag and erratic sleep patterns affect some people more than others, so even if you have personal experience of dealing with jetlag well, you can't use that as an absolute truth.

I don't know anything about Sniper, but MVP's players have generally seem to be improving. I've never seen Sase play, but his hype level has been rising, so pretty eager to see this. But I do think Check has been a pretty weak player, so I think Naniwa has a good chance.

I think Thorzain could've won if he didn't run his tanks up this far but he had to kill Yugioh with this push .

Nah, even without that mistake Yugioh will just wear him out. Did you notice that Thorzain was on 2 base when Yugioh start his 4th and 5th?

IF Thorzains push would've had suceeded he would've won the Game AND this push probably was his only chance of winning the Game. He needed to ty and kill Yugioh with this push and he knew it . The chance was probably slim BUT it would've been better without Thorzain suiciding the 3 tanks.
