rofl. Did you not see game2? where strelok failed his cheese.

In fact I did not. It still doesnt change the trueness of my statement since Nani DID cheese his way to the win

Yes, it doesn't change the 'trueness' (which isn't a word), because your statement is still false.

Nani could play standard and win, because he is the better player. Anyone with a casual interest in SC2 knows this.

Pretty bizzarre assertion to make when the only game of the series played standard was won by Strelok....

You are acting like that is the only game they have ever played. Naniwa has a winning record against Strelok and has had more success in general.

He is the better player, I don't think even Strelok would say otherwise.

You act like the past is the be all and end all?

Strelok has been on an extremely intense practice regimen lately, I think he can hold is own with Naniwa now.

If Strelok builds 1 Bunker in the right spot in his base, to defend the NorthEast side from voidray/warp ins, He wins rather handily. He didn't react correctly.

Naniwa should have lost rather easily, he's not going to get those breaks from Koreans.

Everyone needs their badboy.

US got idra
Korea got MC
Europe/Sweden got Naniwa.

i like the bad boys because they are usually ones that will be "i'll 4-0 him next series" or "i'll 2-0 all the koreans" and if it works or not it just gives the games more entertainment imo :D

This is 3rd Offline event for Nerchio.

1st one of any "relevance".

Yeah i'm not getting any lag at all really.
NaNi isn't really a bad boy anymore imo, he's just a bit awkward in interviews, he did call Strelok a great player.
LaLush and Nerchio are far more BM than him.

yeah he's really bm online, but I bet offline he does not dare to say anything to any of the other players.... and Socke beating him 2:0 really shows that the huge lan experience of socke is a huge advantage compared to the no exp. of nerchiio

People really underestimate Socke in general though imo. He's always one of those guys that nobody thinks of when they think who will win tournaments. But he silently ploughs his way through. Strange really because he's super solid.

What happened?

Nerchio just complaints about balance all the time. Standard zerg player stuff.

He linked that because i didn't know it was in Poland, but 2 guys answered me, so it's fine. The guy thought it was smart to post that, don't know why.

Guess my edit was in late, but I added "check Poland "

The point was to show the percentage of english speakers..

enough off topic from me!

I don't get why people think not gging out of games and raging at your opponents over the internet makes you a bad boy, it makes you an angry nerd.

I dont care about the games, if they dont gg or talks trash. :D
I care about how they are in interviews etc.
And Idra,Mc,Nani are always bad boys in those.

He lost, this will be the loser's bracket. He looks pretty damn nervous lol

First LAN i believe, of significance at least. It will prolly take Nerchio a couple more before he competes at the same level he does on Online cups.

its almost impossible to play 100% on your first lan, kinda painful

I wouldnt say its impossible. I play currently Casually tethering to my droid. I have less than 1mb with 2 second delay at times. I love the game too much tho so thats better than nothing.

I visited my first LAN 2 months ago. I beat 2 top 10 ranked masters terran and placed 4th losing to a 1600 terran (at the time) 3-2. On ladder I haven't yet broke into Masters. So, my first LAN i played better than I ever have lol
I am become death, for I am the destroyer of worlds.....You will be missed KT Violet!!!

We have quite a few actually.

Nerchio
Naniwa
Lalush

I think the Europeans are just a lot more brutally honest than Americans.

There is a difference to being a badboy and just being a douchebag. Lalush being the latter.

True bullshit, since he's beaten koreans in macro games several times.

My statement was more about the style of Code A games, rather than Nani's.

These are earmuffs with earplugs underneath. They probably belong to the tournament organizers, not Naniwa.

Game 1 - Naniwa not dealing with a drop so well, lost the game.

Game 2 - Strelok doing a cheese he is supposed to win with due to Naniwas expansion, Naniwa outclassing him severely in micro.

Game 3 - Strelok scouts a void ray cheese, YET fails to defend it. Naniwa has amazing micro, Strelok can't even compare to it.

I quote Naniwa; "The first game was a good warmup...".
