If u're going to start this tournament again, then try to place it in the weekends like Saturday or Sunday - That would make it possible for us Europeans to participate and the tournament would gain more players.

I don't think there is a problem with the amount of people participating. There are usually 20 or so teams out of a possible 32. If there is anything lacking the advertisers are looking at it would probably be the number of people viewing the stream.

also there would be more viewers. nerski did it on a weekend and without expsoure it got more people.

also they should try new maps.

yea weekends would definitely get some attention. maybe if playhem took 1 day out of the week to do a playhem 2v2 weekly, itd be great. maybe a joint effort?

I think the most logical day/time would be a Saturday afternoon (european evening) tournament. This would be ideal for viewer/player bases.

Part of the problem with 2v2 is that blizzard (and no one else for that matter) will create maps for it. Map pool is stagnant and boring.

While I wouldn't be opposed to the idea, I sincerely doubt they want to do a joint effort

Yea, it would nice to have this again. In the meantime there's the Plat 'n' Up 2v2 Tournament. We tried a Saturday time this week but few teams showed up ;_;. So we're having monday night again if anyone would like to show up!

We may try the Saturday time again another week to get the Europeans involved.

Can't we try having the tournament without a prize until we get another sponsor? I'd still be happy to watch and participate even without a prize. Maybe some people only play for that potential $50 so you will lose some people, but I'm sure many would still join.

Uh, well that's kind of what the Plat 'n' Up 2v2 Tournament is right now. We don't have a prize pool yet and we're still looking to get some sponsors.
