Cant believe theres so much hate in these threads while we're so blessed with a wonderful event, with wonderful games. Last warning, whine and insult the players or commentators? See you.

no, but since MVP never lost, he didnt get to use hsi 2nd chance like everyone else did, if u understand.
everyone else got knocked into the losers bracket, mvp didnt, so he must lose twice
Down 0-2 on a Bo7 is the same sa 2 Bo3s. MMA has to win 4 games before MVP wins 2.
It is not the same. Lets say we use your theory that this is the same as MMA being down 0-2 in a bo7. If that were the case, MMA could win the 1st game, lose the 2nd, win the 3rd and lose the 4th and he would be eliminated. However In the case of the 2 bo3's he would not be eliminated.

MVP came from the winner's bracket so he hasn't lost a Bo3
MMA came from loser's bracket
so MVP starts with a 1 Bo3 advantage, thus MMA has to win 2 Bo3s while MVP just has to win 1
He has to win 2 Bo3s because he didn't get #1 in the pool. He was never actually "eliminated". Dumb rule.
Are you serious? Not getting 1st in your group counts as your bo3 loss and sends you to loser's bracket. A pool player can go 0-5 in pool play while all non group players only get to lose 1 bo3 before being sent to loser's bracket. Being in pool play is already a huge advantage.
