There are many ways to do this, and I have played a lot of pool tournaments that do it differently. One of the obvious arguments is that the price for being knocked down is that you have to play more games (potentially many more games) to reach the final. Therefore you have already paid your debt before the final and should start on equal footing. The other and much, much more entertaining (edit: than the win 2xbo3 thing) way of doing it is the middle road. Give MVP 1-0 in a bo7 for instance. | ||

Format makes sense. Need to give the winners bracket an advantage. You already get a huge advantage though by getting number one in the bracket by having far fewer opportunities to being knocked out. This way MMA is being punished twice by having to play more matches and having to win 2 bo3s. | ||
