Cant believe theres so much hate in these threads while we're so blessed with a wonderful event, with wonderful games. Last warning, whine and insult the players or commentators? See you.

It's like watching minor league baseball when its all foreigners, and watching Major league baseball when watching GSL. I prefer a mix of both players, however.

It basically means we're ensured a midgame. People are just being really stupid thinking it's a bad mirror.

MVP is just a whole step above DRG, but that's a given granted he's a 2 time gsl champ. Overrated and overhyped are pretty much synonymous. Either way, I just hope people stop treating him like a god, and start treating him like a really good up and coming zerg with a lot of potential.

Thats why they stay up to ridiculous hours to watch GSL. Thats why NASL had 80,000 viewers for Puma vs MC. Its why DreamHack invited Koreans. They elevate the level of competition and give the best games. IPL is boring to me now. I love the production and casters and love the foreign players, but its just not the same. I would say IPL is losing more interest than MLG. Oh and MLG didn't bring any more Korean players over, other Koreans just decided to come over for Anaheim. Ok. I guess people have different preferences. I love MLG and always watch everything and I don't watch GSL at all since I'm not interested in the Korean community. I might be wrong on this but doesnt Koreans get their qualifying spot from previous events plus the 4 GSL invites effecively increasing the number by 4 every event since they always get top placements?

I think what tips it is the current metagame and the fact that there are so many Terrans with good skill working together to come up with crazy inventive shit.

Why would Inc + Machine be seeded that high when they've both failed miserably, to the point of being completely outclassed, in two entire MLG events? Doesn't seem fair to the rest of the players just below on ranking points. The pools should have the top 20 skilled players in, its pretty boring when a player is there who just goes 0-5 every time.
