Cant believe theres so much hate in these threads while we're so blessed with a wonderful event, with wonderful games. Last warning, whine and insult the players or commentators? See you. |

Top 6 is all amazing players. And Boxer is in the top 3.
I don't see how anybody could lose interest at this point. Try all the fans of the other players.. Just becuase Barcelona got some of the world best players doesnt mean Im gonna watch them play. Welcome to sports btw NN all hope boxer win it all That just means your not a real football fan. I like baseball but I'm not a Yankee fan. Guess I'm not a baseball fan. Darn. you're not, koreans can offer the best starcraft in the world right now , if you're not interested in watching high quality games because you wanted that foreigners, with lower quality games to duke it out, you're not a starcraft fan. personalities are important dont get me wrong but they dont mean everything I'd also like to add that Starcraft:BW and Starcraft 2 have a major difference in that in starcraft 2 people shouldnt worry about "Korean vs. Foreigner" even tho this is fun to have a rivalry from SC:BW the big thing is that SC2 is a INTERNATIONAL game and not seperated by nationalities unlike BW where koreans lived in korea and foreigners never saw/heard from them other than in streams watching OSL/MSL guys just enjoy the games they will be epic. Who cares if top 6 is korean they share the same passion we do. So the big thing im trying to say is: Why can't we all be "starcraft 2 players"?
People root for their hometown players.
You and a hundred other posters can pretend that logic and love of the game dictates who people want to win. It's just not true. Foreigners want to see foreigners do well. It's a big deal to a lot of people to see our own get completely shut out in brutal fashion.

just looked at all the brackets. great games coming up!!!!!!!!!! but so sad that huk got knocked out and idra barely lost to nani. if idra won he would have faced mma!!!! DARN!!!!

why would he care about 7th or 8th place, naniwa plays to be nr1 not 7

True, this crowd is a bit lack-luster. Columbus crowd was about half the size, yet cheered their asses off.

No, Ganzi will get an Code A invite. He was not invited by GOMTV/GSL so he gets a Code A invite thanks to that.

Oh the irony. well they only watch cuz there are koreans here, it wouldnt be true vice versa. if there were no koreans you think theyd watch weak foreigner competition at odd hours?
I'm just saying that they NOW realize the pain we go through to watch GSL.

Rooting for foreigner.. no lol. Gogogogo Boxer!

Ret & IdrA definitely not, and Slush could've gone last time but he didn't want to.. So then we're looking at HayprO, Kiwi, Socke & Sheth. Would be great to see Kiwi/Socke go ;D

I'll just let the spoilers fill me in. Oh noes, MLG has brilliant matches, I must watch something else? Why are you watching pro Starcraft again? What? You do realize that Im stating that Id rather watch Evo over this. Perhaps I watch MLG to see the contention between foreigners and koreans. If I wanted to watch all koreans I can always watch GSL. You find the coming matches brilliant YOU watch it. Thank you for sharing this in the live report thread for MLG.
Your welcome. Watched the final matches (DRG vs MVP// Nani vs MMA). Did not just jump in to derail the thread. Just disappointed thats all.

DRG's style counters mass drop play, but absolutely dies to slowpushing hardmacroing position terran. so ~~~ DRG > MMA

I admire that Naniwa accepts nothing less than 1st, and even then wants to improve, and that he feels so strongly about losing. It's a good attitude to have, and it reminds me of the way Wolfkrone is (SF player). It's refreshing to see that he isn't content with losing. That said, there is no reason for him to always act like such a poor sport. In fairness it makes sense, he keeps his Number 1 seed and gives HuK more points which HuK may later need if he is to miss an event

God damn SC2 fanboi-ism is taking new levels of extreme.
But Boxer's lips look nicer imo.

top 6 are all korean
problem foreigners?

For those complaining about the race distribution they invited 5 korean terrans, 1 zerg and two protoss (both in the open bracket). It was expected to be dominated by terrans...

Why would he forfeit? Exhaustion? Probably because it is about nothing.

if drg beats mma, rain beats ganzi...the codeS spot would be between boxer and drg..I don't think boxer would take the spot seeing how he lost it in the first place

DRG vs MMA is going to be beyond epic. They have some juicy history between them as well.
