Cant believe theres so much hate in these threads while we're so blessed with a wonderful event, with wonderful games. Last warning, whine and insult the players or commentators? See you.

Naniwa will still hold top seed in the MLG rank as long as MMA does not win the whole tournament. Serious respect to the guy, he has been so consistent. He just always seems to run into a player that much better than him, and very rarely gets lucky against them.
I really want Korea to go well for him, he deserves it.

Goddamnit Naniwa...

He doesn't need the MLG points lol.

Looool good old naniwa. No sportsmanship.

Players forfeit these matches all the time. White Ra forfeit to Incontrol earlier today.

Naniwa forfeits?

Are you serious? What's with his attitude these past 3 days. Man, that's so disappointing

Why are people so bummed out about this? It's normal for players to forfeit consolation matches or let it go to the coinflip. It's not as if the match would have been streamed either.

I waited all mlg for THIS match to learn some zerg tricks instead all i get is despair.

zerg trick - #1 - make infestor... #2 - opponent types GG

use it while you still can, before the next patch comes

1. Get infestors

2. Lose to macro terran with easy gold base, slow push tanks because you have 0 muta to pick units off or harass terran.

3. GG when you see ghosts.

There is a reason NesTea gets bling/muta 99% of his TvZ before infestors.

1. Get mutas.
2. Kill some missile turrets and marines
3. Lose to macro terran who won before the "easy gold base" ever came up.

Nestea's worst matchup is also ZvT.

I admire that Naniwa accepts nothing less than 1st, and even then wants to improve, and that he feels so strongly about losing. It's a good attitude to have, and it reminds me of the way Wolfkrone is (SF player). It's refreshing to see that he isn't content with losing.

That said, there is no reason for him to always act like such a poor sport.

That's Naniwa for you...

He doesnt need it.
He is still #1 seed going into the next MLG.

Ya... this is all that matters. Even if he gets moved down to number 2 or 3, the group difficulties are always random, even though A should be the weakest overall if you take out the first place person.

Either way, weak cheer from the audience for MVP.

Homestory Cup 3?

Dreamhack Summer 10?

Jetlag?

Both won by HuK, who flew from... Oh yeah, Korea.

He had an extremely lucky path through Dreamhack though. Would've gone quite different if he was facing Bomber instead of Moon, and even then Huk played kind of bad in the finals and just died when he didn't have Moon do retarded all-ins.

You realise most players just coinflip their placement games? Has no weight on anything. Why play a game for nothing?

NN all hope boxer win it all

That just means your not a real football fan.

I like baseball but I'm not a Yankee fan.

Guess I'm not a baseball fan.

Darn.
you're not, koreans can offer the best starcraft in the world right now , if you're not interested in watching high quality games because you wanted that foreigners, with lower quality games to duke it out, you're not a starcraft fan.
personalities are important dont get me wrong but they dont mean everything

All non-Yankee fans aren't fans of baseball.

Got it.

No, it's more like someone being more interested in high school baseball over MLB.

You can watch a game because you like rooting for a team or you can watch a game because you like watching the game (obviously most people are a combination of both).

People who only like to root for "their" team don't care who is playing besides that. But a lot of people do just like to see good play. The NFL Superbowl has something like 100 million people watch it because it's a good game and they like football, not just because they like the teams in it.

I can understand people getting mad that their "Team" (or player) is losing, that happens all the time. But they really shouldn't be complaining about it. That would be more like complaining that the yankees are in baseball and in the world series again instead of saying that not liking the yankees means you don't like baseball.

People need to realize how ignorant opinions like this are. No one complains when a swedish player wins 2 MLGs in a row, or when a white guy comes home from Korea to stomp everyone. It's different when the players are asians? Sorry if white dudes don't autowin in SC2 events. It takes effort and Koreans put it in.

You think it is ignorant that I choose to root for the underdogs, the foreigners? I find it BORING to have nobody to cheer for...got that?...

what he's saying is that if the favorite was a foreigner, you probably wouldn't be complaining if foreigners were dominating koreans although in this scenario, the underdogs are koreans, not foreigners.

and you know i'm right

no, you are wrong, what you suggest is that I am a racist...fucking offending really.

No you're not a racist. Just a person who roots for inferior players based on skin color.

based on skin color? where the fuck did I say that?..you guys really start to annoy me, calling me ignorant, racist ..wtf is wrong with you people?

American culture ;d

People need to chill. Part of the fun of MLG is the East vs. West thing. And its a little sad to see Koreans starting to completely dominate here. We had hopes in the foreigner scene that SC2 would be different from BW.

Part of the reason I personally prefer seeing Foreigners win over koreans is because I speak english and I prefer seeing interviews i understand well over interviews I dont. Foreigners also tend to be more open about their feelings and interactions with the crowd after win/loss in general. This mlg is showing some players Like Boxer can be quite open though
