These players really need to step up their game.

But only Select and Socke have potential out of those 5. I dont mean that in a flamy way, as I respect them all as players, but there are just some people in the group stages who shouldnt really be there TT
I agree completely. I mean when was the last time Machine/Incontrol/Drewbie had good tournament results? I can't remember for Incontrol, but for machine I think it was like a MLG in 2010 like -_- and I think every single MLG Drewbie has done bad.
Incontrol came 4th at MLG Dallas 2011 that was only 2 MLGs ago which was better than idra in that tournament.
Guess I just forgot about that, but idk I just don't see Incontrol as that strong of a player.
That was down to a fortuitous draw and the way winning a group guarantees you an amazing placement.

looking at EG's results I really hope for Puma's sake that he's keeping on good terms with practice partners in Korea lol.

People in this thread are just throwing around crazy ungrounded claims of players' skill. Is this what live report threads have to be?
"Sorry, I guess I forgot about the FACTS. Here are my FEELINGS about him as a player."

Where have you been? This is what ALL live report threads devolve into.

Where have you been lol? Tyler's been crushing face.
0-2 TLO 0-2 Naniwa
Not so good so far
tyler 2-0 choya. sounds good to me.
Tyler is a bad player, no matter what.
well, with such logic, how can i disagree. beating choya who had just beaten jinro. man, he sucks!!
Lol no idea why people keep thinking PvP means anything. Tyler took a game off MC last MLG in PvP too, that doesn't mean he's going to win a couple GSLs. And Choya beating Jinro is indicative of Jinro not being very good versus protoss, not that beating Choya in a PvP is an accomplishment.
Uhm, he's quite good vs P.
MC is also considered pretty good in PvP but Tyler still took a game off him, Alicia still 2-0'd him a while ago, etc. It's PvP, look at the rest of Tyler's games versus other races instead of a mirror matchup known for its volatility.
