He's a popular streamer that got picked up by Root a while back. He's mostly popular for his personality, not play. He's clearly not terrible, but some of his fans are a little... well, very dedicated. I believe he played BW casually, but he's not anyone you'd remember.

These players really need to step up their game.

But only Select and Socke have potential out of those 5. I dont mean that in a flamy way, as I respect them all as players, but there are just some people in the group stages who shouldnt really be there TT
Yeah I can't remember the last time I saw Drewbie actually do anything. Socke and Select should really be able to do better but if this is the 2nd MLG in a row that Select goes 0-5 then he really should be going through the open bracket next time.

I agree completely. I mean when was the last time Machine/Incontrol/Drewbie had good tournament results? I can't remember for Incontrol, but for machine I think it was like a MLG in 2010 like -_- and I think every single MLG Drewbie has done bad.
Incontrol came 4th at MLG Dallas 2011 that was only 2 MLGs ago which was better than idra in that tournament.
Do the winners of the open losers bracket face the runners up of the open winners bracket in the championship losers bracket? (LOL @ that tongue twister) If so, does anyone know how they are matched up? I don't want Oz to have to face off against an FXO guy, there are like 5 of them still in the losers bracket and already guaranteed to be teamkills if they all play well >_<.
You forget european zergs, Morrow, Nerchio, Stephano and maybe Dimaga (not sure) are imo better than Destiny
lol dimaga is better than all the names you quoted ^^
You forget Ret! but also Haypr0 and Lalush
haypro is absolute garbage. ret has posted some results against mediocre players but seems to crumble horribly against koreans.
Wait seriously you think Destiny is better than them? "Ret posted some results against mediocre players" wow so delusional. 1st in NASL Divisional play, so mediocre. 1st at Assembly, all those players sucked. Destiny wasn't there so it's a trivial tournament obviously.
Non-Korean Zergs who are better than Destiny: Stephano, Sen, IdrA, Nerchio, Ret, Dimaga, MorroW, Moonglade, Sheth, Xigua, Slush, CatZ, Osho, Lalush, Darkforce, Moman, Xlord, Mondragon, Ciara, Vibe, Lowely, Delphi, Titan, d.Killer, ActionJesuz, and Haypro
no, i think destiny is worse than him/them. ret also lost in under 15 minutes combined in the nasl finals if you really wanna go to that tourny.
You mean he lost to Puma? The eventual winner? This is pathetic.
i thought he was super good cause he was the nasl divisional play winner? it's one thing to lose, but another entirely to get absolutely brutalized.
You're pathetic, really just stop. I don't know what you're trying to argue anymore
ret is overrated. didn't know it was that unclear.
I think Ret is not overrated. He was 1st seed in NASL, and he's looking good at the moment in this MLG, haven't dropped a single game ...
Destiny is a pretty decent player, but most of his success comes from a loophole in how the meta game plays out. The top players more often then not are doing the best known strategy at the time, and are used to playing against similar sorts of play. It is possible for a player to use some very different style that is not as solid as the styles currently being followed in the meta game, but are unknown to the other players, giving them an advantage. I have a hard time taking a player seriously who ignores the meta game because of this fact. The more this sort of player becomes known, normally, the less success they will have.

Where have you been lol? Tyler's been crushing face.
0-2 TLO 0-2 Naniwa
Not so good so far
tyler 2-0 choya. sounds good to me.
Tyler is a bad player, no matter what.
well, with such logic, how can i disagree. beating choya who had just beaten jinro. man, he sucks!!
Lol no idea why people keep thinking PvP means anything. Tyler took a game off MC last MLG in PvP too, that doesn't mean he's going to win a couple GSLs. And Choya beating Jinro is indicative of Jinro not being very good versus protoss, not that beating Choya in a PvP is an accomplishment.

Guess I just forgot about that, but idk I just don't see Incontrol as that strong of a player.
