Impressive.
This, and Tyler's 2-0 win vs. Choya, have been the biggest foreigner upsets so far, it seems.

You just get responsibilities, lose motivation etc and practice less. The injury is a legitimate mitigating factor for him though, obviously. Yeah, all that happens when you turn like 80. 30 years old is fucking young, dude. He has a thousand IQ to compensate. Boxer is a super-god with a thousand plus one IQ, sup now yo.

Sadly, I doubt he will get past Tod. Because of extended series he starts down 2-0. In a PvP, it's hard to win 4-1 against anyone (which is what he will need to do). True, but then again, Alicia is fucking amazing when he focuses. His PvP vs MC in the super tourney was flawless. But yeah... it's gonna be fucking difficult to be sure

No. He starts up 2-0 because of the extended series rule. They play a BO7, so Alicia basically has to go 4-1 against Tod to advance. He's basically screwed ![]()

Seriously lol, I can't believe anyone would honestly think reaction time slows in your early 30s enough to effect your performance in starcraft. It doesn't slow that much, but what does slow down is mechanical ability. For Boxer, who has played tens of thousands of SC games, his hands must be deteriorated at least somewhat. It also doesn't help someone like Boxer who was never a mechanically solid player in the first place that younger and younger progamers have already completely developed their mechanics to a point that is far beyond Boxer's.

Actually, some parts of your cognitive ability start declining at the age of 25 ![]() Videogames use a very small amount of mental ability... Your cognative abilities fade when you stop using them. 25 is the age where most adults get out of school, and get into the habit of doing the same thing 5 days a week. There is no LEARNING involved, so their brains begin to degenerate. Pro gamers are CONSTANTLY using their brains to think of new matches and fix mistakes. The only thing that inhibits them at 25+ is their hands and fingers. Not their brains.
