I felt Byun's TvT was his best, but apparently his TvZ is statistically better. Still think his TvT might be better though, considering who he had to beat.

and where is this comment coming from? I'm pretty sure he was saying that before he won.
he said it during GSL S3, so yea it was after his win

Do you think GSL can hold out long enough until then? = /
what matters are live stream views and VOD views
the live crowd is there for show, but the numbers that GOM actually uses to appeal to sponsors are live stream views and VOD views
so you can get an idea of current interest in SC2 by looking at VOD views for recent games and comparing them to VOD views generated by games from past seasons

The GOM studio is much smaller than a large convention center where MLG's and NASL is held.
this makes me wonder, how big was starcraft 1 esports before BW was out?

I make one of the only truly insightful comments as to why HungUn lost and you are arguing over if Nestea is the "Jaedong" of SC2 or whether or not Nesta is "bonjwa." Hm.
Your comment was stupid, hence why no one wants to bother responding. The only protoss to make it to the semifinals is not "below average", he didn't make the absolute worst decisions possible at any time (people whine that he doesn't put any pressure on Nestea, he puts pressure on Nestea and gets counterattacked on a stupid map and loses his nexus), and what macro war are you even talking about? None of those games went past the mid-game, where Nestea macro'd up a clear advantage in every situation because he realizes you can defend very well with spines and knows when he can drone, even though Hongun went the most macro-centric route possible in game two.
At least I got a reply. I regret posting because I should have known to get a post so full of ignorance that it is quite clear he doesn't understand the game. I will say one thing though: when people say "put on pressure" they don't mean "suicide entire army into spine crawlers." When I say macro war, I mean HongUn was not even trying to get there. He was making too many terrible decisions to prohibit this.
This is why no one responded to you, because you are an arrogant nobody and no one cares about your opinion.

Yup, and many people don't realise that GOM's business model is completely different from events like MLG and DH.
It's also almost every day a week, whereas MLG/NASL are once every 2/3 month events, so it's more special/more people will show up cause it happens so rarely. GSL is free to visit however, right in Seoul, and happens so often that large viewership is split over dozens of days.
