Should be an awesome event! i dont't think IGN will invite teams outside of NA/EU, first ipl had only NA players, second one NA/EU players. so i doubt it 
They said Koreans will be participating in the original post.
They expanded from NA only to NA/EU in the span of a season, and they've stated they plan to expand further in the future. We may very well see Korean participants in the IPL3 as well.
