DAMN, im hope qxc takes this, then chances for a reverse all kill is low

Called team building, guys. IM sitting pretty in standings and facing a team MVP or NesTea can possibly reverse all-kill or at least get 2-3 points. Coach obviously feels he would rather develop his rookie players against a fairly-strong opponent on the real stage. Gives them some experience so they can have a bit more confidence in future gsl qualifiers and team games.

So sad we're not seeing IM's best play in this teamleague. Maybe once they finally play ST they'll put out their best, but god damn. At least I'll get to see MVP play a lot of games in MLG.

Even if Dreamer all-kills, IM has already done worse against FXO than any other team in the Venus league. That means that every other team has one or two points against IM. Their insistence on sending out untested players is starting to hurt them.
I mean, Nestea can probably reverse all-kill, but 4 wins is a lot and it's very tiring. Do you want to bet your teams honor on that?

Just because you aren't MVP/Losira/neastea doesn't mean you're a B teamer. I'm sure IM felt confident in the players they sent out but they just underestimated QXC.

Something seems strange.. I dont think they realise that 'fOu' can still qualify for playoffs, this just makes it easier for fOu. Is QXC looking the strongest in FXO right now? Outside of GSL we don't really get to see how the team is developing (& in the GSL we haven't really seen much of their potential until today). Really curious how the team, as a whole, is shaping up. Well considering that the rest of the team is full of complete jobbers, yeah he is the strongest in FXO right now when Sheth is gone. He did the best in the Code A prelims so I think saying QXC is the strongest is a fair assumption. Oz is probably the second best player

No he didn't. He went two very close games, but DRG took both of them.

i sence a 4-1 vic for FXO with qxc killing 3 then sc killing nestea

Hes always been hard to beat, but taking it to korean levels and maintaining that patient "safe" style is whats scary. Just look at how he actually places rax's outside his base, so his units reinforce better in fights instead of having to come down the ramp and risk being forcefielded in.
not totally surprised hes doing this well.
we need a QXC vs HuK GSTL match lol actually the main is just so small in xel naga that you have to start putting stuff down your ramp
Its small but QXC had at least a half screen left empty.. remember when that Collosus was on the highground when tasteless said "Thats not your base!".. He was still not even in range of any buildings, that was a lot of extra space in the main.
Either way; if he consciously thought of building rax's outside his main (like I assume) or not, its clear that method really saved his ass when PPi pushed back. He had a 2-way flank due to his rax placement, one side being covered by a planetary and other side being covered by a bunker/highground. Thats smart playing.

Well MVP is almost definitely going to be the ace. I think they want Nestea and Losira to rest and hide their builds because they're both in Ro4 in the individual league.

Qxc is not good enough for an all kill, he's already getting cocky. IM knows that, they have the talent to get back and easily win this.

Weren't two of the games 68 and 45 minutes too? I remember hearing that QXC might have been a big reason why DRG didn't get into code a this season.

It doesn't make any sense though, they're in second place and need every point they can get
They still value normal GSL more, and they kinda should probably. They want their players to have experience in the booth.

It seems a big risk to put 3 fairly unknown players out. Even if they send out Nestea he can still lose to blind cheese.
even then, if QXC wins this, then no matter who IM send out, they are going to be tired as hell trying to win 4 in a row. Not to mention FXO can just wear him out with going for longer games, then send in the specific sniper. It's never good just relying on the ace winning it all.

he is a terran player, so we will see how QXC is doing in all the matchups
so far he is looking pretty damn good
go go go !!!

Think they're gonna use Yoda last.
