Yes this is important: when discussing balance with a perpetual balance whiner, facts are irrelevant to the anecdotal evidence. One must analyze only one's own subjective experiences to determine balance and not consider the consistent, objective data.

All the time. Even though there are zero Protoss bonjwas in that game and the race hasnt won a major in 3 years.

I kind of hope that at least 1 game becomes mech vs bio, that's one of the most interesting ways to play tvt imo, because both sides can be 1 mistake away from an army disappearing, marauders and siege tanks are known to do that :p

Its not that we are waiting for it, its just that going by GSL history with less than stellar finals, it wouldn't be that surprising.
