If one were to analyze all the games in tournaments zerg win, how would one come to the conclusion that zerg is underpowered when they won, isn't that the point of the game, to win? And then stats backing up the small sample of a tournament result mean nothing too? I guess we just analyze the games where idra loses and thats how balance is determined kk idra logic ftw.

Protoss players don't stand out nearly as much as Terran and Zerg players in terms of skill. Requirements for being a decent toss with a decent success is not too much (well, we got Tester and HongUn who are "decent" protosses with decent success, but skillwise, they don't nearly stand out as much as Losira or NesTea; or Terran players Bomber or Byun). That's why we see people like Tester and HongUn in code s q-finals and s-finals and code a finalists like Tassadar. Puzzle is good though, we might see him in ro8 or ro4 in next code s with an outstanding gameplay.

Hey, Terran has appeared heavily in a couple GSLs. Does that mean I can use that as anecdotal evidence haha? Your idea makes a little sense on the surface, but I'd you think about it, it's actually too shallow and meaningless to use results of a tournament as an indicator of anything.

Ah ok. Thank you. So thats actually a good point, very few people have switched to Protoss if any.
That being said, it is extremely rare to see people switch races. And I am not sure why since I dont think the game is so huge you can't learn more than one.
The again, I have always felt that the race chooses the player, the player actually has no choice in what race they use.

How good he is doesnt matter much,when 3 dts come into his base and he doesnt have an overseer already hes gonna suffer and need to replenish drones afterward anyway instead of massing roaches. The only reason he could go and kill him like that was that Tricksters attack was completely deflected.
