Hatch first vs FFE is extremely risky, a lot of protoss will just plant 2 pylons and a cannon behind your mineral line and your hatch is dead while you can't really do anything against it. It requires perfect control to prevent that from happening without having lings, so it's a lot safer to just get lings first. Ofc hatch first can work and not all protoss players will go for the cannons, it's just a far bigger risk than pool first. | ||
