The draw which usually happened after Code A finals were the selections for the Up/Down matches, not the group selections

There should be 14 spots to play for (12 + 2 because Rain and Sheth withdrew) + 4 invites (Naniwa, Thorzain, Fenix, SaSe). Ryung won a mini tournament to take Rain's spot.

YGosu invitational which was right after MC's GSL3 win, Bomber took a 3-0 lead but then MC came back to win 4-3. Also played each other once in the Zotac tournament (Bomber win), and GSTL once (MC win)

The seeding should be given to all, and groups determined over due course, then you have top seeds meet in the later rounds, and if it would happen Seed 1 vs Seed 2 final. (NesTea vs MC i beleive) Well if he would've done well last season he could've picked where he wanted to be. But he didn't. So he got placed in whatever group picked him.

It's statistically meaningless. 2. It was in the GSTL. Regardless of who anyone thinks/wants to win, these statistics don't mean anything. Then we have a ton of other small hints regarding performance lately.

I don't know if I can make a judgment on who would be favored based off of like 5 games then. I mean if that's all the games they've played then it's 3-2 Bomber. That's just one Bo5. Not enough to say he's at a real disadvantage. On July 18 2011 19:46 red4ce wrote: YGosu invitational which was right after MC's GSL3 win, Bomber took a 3-0 lead but then MC came back to win 4-3. Bo3 would be stretching it in terms of time I think. I believe there needs to be 10 separate games played? And then of course there's going to be the tie breakers in case of ties.

Only Sheth ran into Puzzle earlier than HuK ran into LosirA so he couldn't even get a shot at the Up/Downs :/
