If by unique style you mean mech, just look at Korea's GumiHo, who does mech nearly as much as Goody and does it better with twice the apm and better multitasking, macro, and micro....

Obviously it was a weird game with huge mistakes on both sides. But it seemed like they totally forgot about how good of a player GoOdy usually is. It was a off game from him. Have you even been blue flame rushed, cloak banshee rushed and was so far behind? It kind of shakes you. His decision to not go for a third base, but add more factories to gain army advantage was the correct decision because he would not have caught up getting a (later) 3rd as Strelok with already being behind.
As I said, I like Chill and TLO in person and I enjoy their casting, I just find the bashing was A BIT TOO MUCH this time.

We dont complain about that they critisize the players. Its the way they do it. Aint funny at all like this

I think he had a full energy Orbital cos he was saving it for scans. At some point mules are not as worth as scans, which you need a lot for TvT tank battles. One scan can win or loose a game, while a mule does not.

People laughed at GoOdy for using mech and not changing. Now the GSL Terrans adjust to Mech - who's laughing now? GoOdy has no good mechanics, but insanely good reads and decision making. Everyone knows he has bad macro, get supply blocked and its fine to tell that straight in a cast, but if you fail to see the right decisions he made that game or just don't see them - its casterfail.

that and he was only on 2 base, with mules he would have mined out his bases too fast and he cant spend it fast enough

Let's not pretend Goodys been winning tournament. He's an average EU Pro, who's known for his unique style but results wise, there's nothing to write home about.

He was in a 9 week slump? HSC3, Darkforce was preparing for more than just Goody too. In a tournament setting like HSC3 or a TL Open, Goody's style is much stronger because players aren't used to it. When they have a week to prepare against it, it is much weaker. Hence the 2-7 in NASL.
