You know the time between games being cast when LR threads become ugly cesspools of hate and arguing? Well, we're currently in it. Best to just stay clear...

As dodgy as...Losira's ZvT?

Well he's improved it lately it seems, but yes. Losira has/had a huge hole in his game which prevented him being top tier. Though still extremely good since his zvz/zvp are ridiculous.

I doubt all the "best foreigners" have been actually competing in the TLOpen. The only really notable ones here are Major, Nerchio, and Ret.

Mana, Lalush, Strelok, Goody, Machine, Lowely, DeMuslim, Grubby.

He was top-tier during that period as well. It was the issue that left him out of the "best Korean zerg" talk but he was still above the rest.

The only one I forgot is Strelok. None of the others are on the level of Naniwa or Nerchio when it comes to consistently winning against the best.

Your ignorance offends me, not your labels.

Nerchio is the favorite to win IMO. It doesn't guarantee him the win either, just like the favorites in the GSL.

An opinion based on nothing of substance. Hence the overdo part. Doing well in the tournament, sure, but winning and flat out being superior to the participating Koreans based on zero evidence, not so much. Especially not in a mostly Bo1 tournament. As a zerg.

If selecting a favored player is "overdoing" it, then I guess we can never speculate on any tournament in SC2. And before you throw out another ad hominem, my opinion is based on months and months of watching Nerchio alongside many other players.

Who said he was "flat out superior"? Strawman much?

Face it, you overreacted and got embarrassed.

You quite clearly put him above a bunch of Korean players based on nothing but unsubstantiated speculation. Anyway, that's beside the point.

This is what I wrote:

Let's not overdo the fanboyism and ridiculous expectations, shall we?

Please point out the overreaction LOL. If anything you overreacted due to pride of your 'months of research' and started thinking that I was personally attacking you. What I wrote was quite harmless.

I did put him about. Slightly above. Slightly above Koreans who have had little to no substantial success in the last few months (besides HwangSin). Being Korean doesn't automatically make you better than everyone else.

Not proud of my knowledge. There will always be people who know more about say, MakaPrime's playstyle and its limitations, than me. But my opinion is not based on "unsubstantiated speculation".

Well I'm not a fanboy of Nerchio (I actually prefer the Korean scene to the foreigner scene) and I didn't say he would crush everyone else. Neither fanboyism nor ridiculous expectations. You must be mistaking my statements for "OMG NERCHIO IS GONNA RAPE TEH KOREANS".

Like I said, your ignorance offends me more than your labels. Your opinions have as much support as mine for the moment, yet I'm the one who's supposed to be the fanboy and all that jazz. Just agree to disagree without trying to demean the other person, k?

Are you guys an organized society of dumb asses or is it just by bad luck you all congregate here?

So how does the quality of TL open take a big hit just because the game between deezer and Demuslim is not livestreamed?
Its nonsense anyway, but even more so as all the ro16 games are never livecasted but casted from replays to prevent the very problem of stream cheating.
So this actually highlights a quality of TL open, and doesnt mean it takes a big hit.

What happened with Moman v AnnyungPrime? I saw it on Axeltoss's stream, AnnyungPrime had double the drones (22 to 11), ahead in tech and with an expansion, and Moman lagged out. Now it shows 1-0 to Moman. How did Moman avoid the rather clear referee decision?

Yeah, MoMan was impossibly far behind in all areas, no way that should have been a regame if that is what they did.

Wow.
Does the embarassment ever stop?

To be fair, no one should ever pay attention to anything Incontrol says anyway. He's like a sleep deprived Tasteless. He just says things.

According to AxelToss, Moman's opponent (annyungprime) accepted a regame and Moman won the regame. Not a big controversy guys, we are all good!

I think he was saying that allowing Deezer into your tournament means it is taking a hit.

You missed the point completely. It's allowing a player in but then not allowing him to be streamed. You either allow players in and stream games or you don't. It's more about the players than the actual league. Saying "oh he will cheat if there's a stream but it's fine since there's no stream" seems a bit backwards doesn't it? To my knowledge who gets streamed is up to the players though and not TL.

Redox, you misread Incontrol's comment. Go read it again.

Axeltoss just said that Moman had messaged him that AnnyungPrime had agreed to a regame, which he then lost. Kudos to AnnyungPrime for not taking the win. And congratulations to Moman.

why did they even do a regame, the result of the game was so clear...
moman should've just dropped the game, he was the one way behind and wasn't he also the one that disconnected?

because any event deezer participates in that is livestreamed we can't watch it.. has NOTHING to do with TLOpen specifically and everything to do with deezer downgrading the quality of events he participates in.
