He is, if not just below it. Sen is a fucking beast.

no one is on level with nestea. Since artosis nearly sparked my love for nestea i'm surprised to hear him say that. But Nestea is much better.

+ Show Spoiler +
If Nestea were in sens position in NASL he would have been thorough and scouted vrays and ended up winning. just one small example

I dont see anyone in the world atm beating Nestea in a bo7, so I agree with you.
The only guy who would have been close to beating him, would be MC, if he is lucky with maps & has practiced alot.

A prepared PuMa could do it too.
I'd bet 100 dollars he couldn't. Yeah he is good, but not that good.

yeah, people need to stop saying zenio is bad. he's very obviously tired and/or jetlagged.

huk vs. mc now, the winner of this will crush HongUn and then play NesTea in the semifinals. ^^

I'm really hoping that MC pulls through just because of that. No offense to HuK, but I can't see him holding a candle to Professor T.

i agree.

not saying huk is bad or anything, but I really can't see him beating NesTea.

Huk has beaten Nestea before and that was months ago, Huk is vastly superior to what he was then.

You mean on the prestigious ladder league?

Huk has actually uploaded more than one replay of him beating nestea in straight up games. It would definitely be an upset, but I can see it happening.

Was that during ladder matches, though? NesTea's acknowledged in interviews that he never shows off the strategies he's working on while laddering.

This actually seems like one of the highest level ZvP's so far (this GSL). The attacks aren't perfect or each engagement ideal but that's something that happens when it isn't just 'deathball' style; if there are 20 engagements instead of 2 of course a few are going to be imperfect. There was so much multitask going on and such well timed transitions; I think Tastosis' commentary is making people think this game is worse than it is.

I sort of agree. I wouldn't say "highest level", but I am sure that Hongun knew more clearly what he could do and what he not than the commentators in this case. Blink stalkers can trade quite effectively, even if the Zerg manages to overwhelm them eventually. In the end, it forces Z to continually produce and you can wear him down. So while the execution was lacking at points, I think the overall concept was valid.

I think Honguns play was good, and he clearly was just using an unconventional strategy that Tastosis didn't agree with, but i wouldn't say it was highest level either, mostly due to zenios part, who was clearly struggling with an awkward situation, but he was definitely engaging a lot when he shouldn't

i.e. kiting chargelots and then chasing them back to their huge freaking army! he was getting free kills and then decided to push on colli/storms. teh fuck?

It's not even that unconventional. I think it followed the general maxims from the "Chinese PvZ" which relies on efficient trading with blink Stalkers and upgrade advantage until you have built up a composition you can win with.

no fucking johns about jetlag people, stop complaining its a tournament

I probably wouldn't say it in those words.

But I agree. Players, I believe for the most part choose what tournaments to enter knowing the details so I don't think it's an excuse if they lose.

Of course, bad luck in when your match is scheduled or what group you get picked in does play a part.

yeah sorry i just hate it when people complain about lag/jetlag/etc

Yeah that's fair enough. It is rather frustrating as I and most people probably prefer the credit going to the winner and their ability to win whether it's a slugfest or dominating performance.

You can see the jetlag but you're right, it's not an okay excuse.

The problem with that statement is that the credit should go to the winner for playing better than a jetlagged person, yes, but it's not as impressive had they played the same player without jetlag. You're playing undoubtedly a worse player at that point, so while the winner may play well there's still the question of how well the other player could have done...

Yeah no doubt that question is still there.
But both players know tournament schedules before they enter and would know if they will have to travel and if they will have jetlag. In knowing this, I feel the accomplishment of the player without jetlag shouldn't be diminished by saying the other player had jetlag.

But you're probably right, I can't tell people how to think, and some will think a player lost cause of jetlag regardless of them knowing beforehand.

cheering for MC though i like both because MC has a better chance vs Nestea.

Since when was that ever a reason to support someone? "I want this player to win because he has the best chance of winning overall." You shouldn't be supporting someone simply because they might have the best future chance of winning.
