Why? Like him or not HongUn gets it done on a fairly regular basis. This is his fourth time in at least r8 (s1, s3, March, now), and he pushed on to reach the semis in season 3.
Not like there's any reason to even think Genius/Clide are significantly better than him.

Go watch some chinese protoss games (seen Huk do it as well though). Pure blink stalkers beat anything Zerg throws at them. Just need better army control than your average protoss.

The reason people lose to blink stalker rushes is because they ONLY go pure roaches or hydras.. mix in lings with either, and stalkers are horrid (no forcefields = gg) So if you are talking about only stalkers vs only roaches; even then, if we're talking even cost (remember 2 roaches = one stalker), the roaches win even with blink micro. Only way stalkers win that is if they are really outnumbering the roaches badly.
This is a really good point about how zergs are mishandling blink stalkers at the moment. The counter is a smooth mix of units (which newer styles have been encouraging through double +1 attack upgrades rather than +1 missle or melee & +1 carapace) which generally have a number of roaches and lings or hydras.
In battles, generally, you want as many of your units to be attacking as possible and blink stalkers are great at abusing this (thanks to their range, movement speed and blink). Roaches are awful for this at a point due to their low range; hydras are abusable because of their move speed and lings have diminishing returns because of limited surface area. Mix the three, however, and you can deal with blink stalkers fine (even super cost-effectively depending on how well they micro/engage).
