Please tell me something happened that delayed play. No fucking way they are nearly playing an average of a game per hour.... DarkForce vs Alive was hella of an entertaining series about an 1.5 hours long. Then we had short games between Whitera vs Select. So yeah lots of downtime, which is something NASL needs to improve upon. There have been a lot of stupid complaints here, but I think the downtime is the most legitimate complaint here. Sound issues are technical - they will get fixed. Caster issues - well that's just stupid fanboys. Downtime - based on their own predetermined scheduling, not guaranteed to be fixed, but I hope they do work up a better format.
I know NASL wants to introduce the players to the fans when brought up to the stage, but that lengthens the break even more since they still have to set up. I'm not sure why NASL isn't allowing the players to set up in their booths, get the settings right during the intros and then be brought for stage introductions. I'm literally falling asleep every time the casters have to wait for the players to be ready for another 10 minutes.

Hang in there Mods! Thanks for your hard work!

That analogy perfectly describes having inc and Gretorp cast the last match. It's not what we wanted, but we can't complain because it's still a Christmas present.

Thank you. People are so damn childish any more. I can't stand Joe Buck and Troy Aikman casting NFL games, but you know what? I don't go online and completely bash them when Fox has them cast the Super Bowl. Gretorp and Inc are fine casters and worked for this. I follow the Falcons board and they ALWAYS complain about the casters for Falcons Games.. But granted, they often get the names wrong on players and thats so disrespectful/ridiculous, it would be like Gretorp calling MC as "JD" a whole cast.. So its granted. People complain about SC2 casters solely for the fact its not Tastosis; not because they are "bad".. Its like if NFL people bashed everyone who wasnt John Madden (which no one would do, but you get my point) I'm pretty sure people complain about gretorp because he is acyually bad at this.
and complaining makes it better? aha...

I am not a big fan of HON because of Pendragon who is their current community manager, and was instrumental in the creation of HON, after being nothing but a blight and horrible nepotist on the DoTA community, before finally abandoning it, but I am glad to see its growth as an esport. I just cannot see myself being involved in a game with him involved.
He would regularly use his admin privileges to unban personal friends of his from TDA, who were banned from TDA play for offenses ranging from maphacking to game ruining, and the forums, make them mods, and ban anyone who criticized this behavior of him.

It's called live report, as in live reporting the games and cheering on the players you enjoy. Not bitching about every little flaw about an amazing starleague because you feel like you *deserve* perfect content 24/7.
People don't bitch when the games are going. It's just that the games are never going so people don't have anything else to talk about.
But seriously, why can't they just start setting up after the previous players? Can't they just do that and then come out later to walk across the stage when the stream is up? I mean.. really.. not only is it sooo long to set up games and they have only 2 booths, but they're wasting time between players finishing and next players setting up.
