didn't you know, there is a gentlemens agreement to never attack before the 20 minute mark and 3-4 bases. But seriously, really wish people would learn the difference between early pressure and cheese. | ||

Opening hatch first is actually the best way to repel bunker rushes. By opening hatch first you get 8lings instead of 6, but have a later ling speed. As long as you are very active with your drones and deny scv's you will usually come out ok (though behind by a good player). This is why you will always see Idra over-commit to a 2rax, not lose the game early, but lose later, and this is also why you will see other zergs die to the push by trying to get ahead in the mid game. A player like Idra has alot of confidence in his macro and mechanics that he will always choose to NOT die early and play the midgame with his strengths. By going creep tumor first you almost completely negate the strneghts of opening gas first, which is the burst of lings due to the first larvae inject. You will be dead by the time that creep tumor and jump once. | ||
