Same, any combination of nestea/huk/mc (even zenio or coca ?) vs TOP, losira, nada, polt, bomber would be fine and a close serie imo. Btw, I'm very glad to be able to put huk in this, his play is now an example of solidity. It's the first time for a long time that we have a foreigner at the very, very, VERY top, not only because of results but because of the actual content of his games. | ||

Imo, best finals would be Nada vs a zerg, preferably NesTea or Zenio, although Zenio would be teamkill. | ||

Surprising result between Sangho and Polt. Shame Polt got him the second time; I'm still not convinced 'Poltimus' is up there with the best. And tbh the second group was always gonna be MC and Bomber coming through, barring some absurd upset one of them would beat the other and then the loser would beat Kyrix and Inca. | ||

Huk is still well short of the MC, Nestea, Bomber level. Plenty of players (Clide, Nada, Anypro, Hongun) look great in the group stages all the time. Fact is that he played two best of one's against bottom Code S level players and one of the games was really dumb and he won because Sangho fucked up (he'd probably have won anyway via build order win but it was a dumb game anyway). Huk is still pretty risky/cheesy. Nothing wrong with that, so is MC, but he's anything but solid when he goes 4 gate/dt's as much as he does. I don't like Huk's PvZ especially it's incredibly risky and I think Losira/Nestea would stomp him pretty hard. Huk is on a very good streak right now (mostly against foreigners), but he has so much to prove before we can decide whether he will be a Nestea or MC or just another Inca. Zenio and Coca should never be anywhere near a GSL finals. Nada is good in TvT but weak in both other matchups, can easilly see him get beat 4-0 by a Zerg or Protoss. TOP is solid but uninspiring but he's a very good player who's capable of beating anyone. Polt is weird because his play is super risky almost all the time so he hovers between looking massively lucky/overrated and a genius. I wouldn't mind him in a final seen as he already won one convincingly but I don't see him keeping his current play style and winning many GSL's to come. | ||

Arguably two team mates playing each other can lead to worse games for the viewers. At least if they are second guessing their opponent and playing a lot of mind games since they know each others styles so much. | ||
