I don't think he was calling Ret out, more as calling the guy who said Ret hasn't done anything in sc2 out.

In BW he was a beast though, he lived in Korea for a while and stuff. He couldn't really take the training regime (and the toilet cleaning) the Koreans threw his way so he went home and quit the game.

Yep, no notable achievements for a player of his fame. He should be winning much more then that, the way people talk about him.
EDIT: Not saying he's bad, he's one of my favorite players, but he's not living up to his reputation.
SC2 you say he has no achievements... in BW you call him a beast.. care to elaborate on his BW achievements that are so much better than his SC2 ones?
Reading my posts I came across a little harsh. What I meant to say is that Ret is talked about mostly because his fame from Brood War, not so much for his accomplishments in SC2. He is, as I said, a very good player but he has not had the results I would expect from a player of his notoriety.
As for his BW achievements, he was a major force to reckon with in the foreigner scene in the latter parts of BW. Of course, he did not win any major tournaments but they were pretty far between. Perhaps I am influenced by my fanboyism from the time, I did not follow the scene very closely back then and just remember Ret being one of the people I followed.
I was very exited back when Ret entered the SC2 scene and I'm perhaps a little bitter that he has not been able to succeed in tournaments.
