ToD is going to show everyone what beast he is!
I think ToD or Adelscott have the best chance to win. They seem the most all around players and have probably been to the most LANs (Especially ToD).

No Stephano. Quite suprising because he is been riping through competition on online cups ^^.
No stephano and no moman . We I guess it should be between ToD and Adelscott , I would probably see adel winning though.
Stephano cant participate because he is in an another big french tournament which take place at the same moment =/
edit: I am blind gl ToD
WCG France... one name comes to mind... ElkY
French organisator is dumb, so they scheduled the WCG finals and the master final (qualifier for the ESCW final) the same week end.
That's why some french players (stephano, moman) are not at Paris today.
Yay, French WCG and ESWC qualifiers at the same time, hurray...
Go ToD
Carn should have competed. Good luck to all!
This should be called National Final and not Grand Final, lol. Grand Final is the name of the WCG global final.

That's why some french players (stephano, moman) are not at Paris today. I was about to ask where those two were.

Is it only one player that is being sent? Sorry if I misread OP but it wasn't immediately obvious to me.

Yes, only the winner go to korea
Any updates on the group stages? I currently don't have the time to watch streams. So a standing of the matches would be nice
Group Standing + Show Spoiler +Group A
Adel 1/0 Sarens 1/0 Bensen 1/1 Minimath 0/2
Group B
Tod 1/0 Swilice 1/0 Laukyo 0/1 ( lose against ToD) Yogo 0/1

LAURENT FIGHTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hopefully Sarens wins. I met him last year when he competed in the UK and he seemed like a nice guy. Wouldn't mind ToD to win either
See you tomorrow for the Grand Finals!
Nice to see ToD beating Adelscott in the semifinals, in what's his weakest MU according to himself. Hope he'll beat Sarens in the finals.
Ok guys, unfortunately, the organizers don't allow anyone else than the official French Stream so jsut mute the FR cast and googgo watch the stream!

Gogogo ToD to koreaaaaa .
Too bad the stream quality is not really good , otherwise it should be an interesting final.

I didnt get why sarens decided not to lift his barracks up and move it down 2 squares.
Tod should win this easily, he'd be very frustated if he wouldnt win the wcg france anymore
damn so many people counting sarens out, I'd probably say he's stronger than ToD currently. Go Sarens
Gosu FFs by Tod and the French caster goes crazy
why is the window of the game so small
hahaha I hope they won´t regame...
wow i knew tod should of attacked...he left Sarens catch back up

This is a strange game....
lol, the french casting is hilarious
ToD should have won 10 minutes ago. He wanted to play supersafe and gave Sarens the chance to mass up vikings, which ultimately killed his collusus. At that point Tod was almost dead (60 supply behind) and now he is in the lead again. the mistakes made this game fun to watch^^ GG lol
I would have prefered to see stephano rather than tod to the WCG.
Score is ToD leading 2-0 vs Sarens (BO5)
Tod going to korea .
was this the finals or semi's?
yeah 3-0 for ToD, big audience by the way, with some nice cheering. edit; lol the commentators are swearing like pirates.
Yeah this was the finals and ToD won 3-0.
Wow the crowd is really huge, I should have been there :p
ToD to Korea, can't wait :D
ToD go to WCG in : - 2004 (finish third in WCG grand finals) - 2005 (4) - 2006 (2) - 2007 (Top 16) - 2008 (Top 8) - 2009 (Top 8) (2010 : No Warcraft 3 players for France. 2003 : That's was on ROC, ToD played already TFT so he didn't try the qualification) And 2011 on SC2 !
7 seven qualifications on 7 try ! Gratz, simply the best french RTS players ever !
Fuck Yeah TOD4K fighting ~~~~~
Nice, grats to ToD. Weren't ElkY the best french RTS player?
ElkY was the first, but the live of ToD in Esports is so impressive, he has win so many internationnal tournaments on Warcraft 3 and he's so good in Starcraft 2. ElkY has just finish 2nd in WCG 2001 (4 or 5 in 2002, Top 8 in 2003 ?) and he hasn't good result in Korea (ToD was so hudge in his prime). Elky was a precursor but not the best french RTS players ever.

RTS is not only War3, SC1, SC2 ^^ Tod is just famous, they are lot of good players in other RTS
Ao2, Ao3, Supreme Commander, Dawn Of war.
But well done ToD!
In Esports, RTS is just BW, WC3, SC2. Ao2, Ao3 etc... wasnt't have so many competition exept WCG and no french player has win a WCG or finish second in a other RTS games.
Great games but Pomf & Thud are godawful, i had to mute the stream to enjoy the games.

What Elky did is quite a bit more impressive than what Tod has done, imo. I mean, it's Brood War. Getting good results in Korea is insanely hard.

I think Tod has a legit claim for this title.

That's was on the beginning of BW, ElkY has dominate the scene (exept Korea) but only 3 years and the scene was very small comparate to Warcraft 3 in the prime or SC2 actually.

Nobody cares, hahaha, how old are you? you might be very young. Its good to cheer for blizzard.
But Thanks to Dune, Command & Conquer and war1 to have popularize RTS games.
Tod and maybe Elky are the most famous french progammer that's all. They only played blizzard games(and poker :D ) I was only meaning, its too restrictive to say that the best player is/was Tod. Lan and RTS tournament are older than 2000 and those WCG. Plus its not because the RTS game is not include in WCG, that its not famous.

Congrats ToD ! Sad I couldn't be there, but I really seemed awesome

Sick prize winning for stephano, it's a bit underwhelming that we basically haven't heard of those tournaments at all :s .
Now the big question is what team will pick ToD ?
Even if the most obvious guess would be him going back to Millenium, but I would like him to join a team with a gaming house, EG maybe, to fully train his potential.
