It's with great pleasure that we, XplayN, can open the doors for our newly announced SteelSeries StarCraft II Masters series. This series of events will be spread over five tournaments, where you'll be gathering points for a final event in December. The final event will be on LAN in Copenhagen featuring a prizepool of 15.000 DKK (app. $2,900).
Everyone who is of Danish origin are eligible to play in these tournaments. The 16 players who gather the most points will be granted access to compete for the money and the title of being the Grandmaster of Danish StarCraft II.
The sign-up for the first tournament in July is already open and top 8 will receive points for the future tournaments. All you need to do is compete is register on XplayN's website and login.
In August the series will continue with two more tournaments; an open for everybody and a closed one. The closed one will be a 16 player tournament for the top 8 players from the previous month and the 8 top performers from the open tournament. This model will continue to be used each month for the series up and till the final event in December.
