It just feels like T expo builds have a huge amount of trouble against P allins that dodge the front (VR , Blink). On the flipside, P expo builds basically hold everything with FF except for execution coinflip against 111 allin. So not sure what to do to make T expos stable vs P. | ||

Protoss is a race built around many strong all-ins. Heck, even a properly executed 4gate is really difficult to stop if not scouted properly (like hidden for instance... in base pylons etc). 16 CC is just to behind in tech to be solid to hold off all-ins. | ||

I think Thorzain's 2 rax expo build would do decent. 1 naked 1 tech lab expand with 2 marauders and fast concuss? Works a lot for me but im only in diamond so idk | ||

I'll be the one to do the obvious and say they only won the second time because IM wasn't in. They skipped an ace in gstl2 vs them because they underestimated slayers, they wouldn't do it again. | ||

I've defended nearly every protoss all-in/pressure with this opening. It's honestly the safest, since you'll have a decent marauder count and concussive shells. | ||

A 2 rax with fast conc shell marauders into expo and then immediately add 2 more rax would've held that most likely. The problem was that Ryung went so marine heavy that he couldn't get enough marauders out in time. The bad about that build though is that it's kinda weak against stargate builds, so it basically comes down to scouting. | ||

Are you referring the to Slayers team performance in the super tournament which was meant to be there big sc2 tournament where Slayers had the 2nd place finish? | ||
