Protoss players, take note, take note. The DT's didn't fail... They don't have to kill SCV's to be successful, they're for map control, getting in base with no turrets and killing SCV's is just a bonus. Isn't that kinda odd though? DT's should be a risky investment since they can end the game right there, but right now you can just turn them into archons and not fall behind at all. I guess that's why they are becoming such a staple unit. Nah, The DT failed, but Virus being so cocky, he though hes far ahead and use scans like crazy. If he build one single Raven, he would have save that 5-6 scans, thats what put him behind. I think archon actually was merged from HTs not DT, I may be wrong though. On the other hand, Genius did have a plan if DT failed and his plan just went through very smoothly.

If Protoss ever smartened up, and started making Chargelot, Archon, HT. Terran doesn't have anything to beat that. marauders do nothing vs that, marines die too fast, and Mech sucks. What do you do? Blue flame hellions and good emps could beat that...but you would need some decent micro for it to work obviously.

I guess that's why they are becoming such a staple unit. I think what happened there is that Genius handled the situation well, and Virus didn't capitalize on the fact that he should have been well ahead (the failure of a drop is a good example of this). So it's a good example of a game where the DT expander should have been behind, but played better than the Terran and ended out on top. If i cared more about PvT that's a game i'd like to rewatch and analyze a bit more to learn from. I'm sure there's some lessons in there for PvT players.

Don't think it's terrible, but it's definitely not up to par with his other match-ups.

He is just as awfull (if not worse) than someone as Jinro in the ability to build workers cosntantly.
