Why do you call it 'waste'? You still get a LOT of hours of top-notch SC2 for only €5, today and tomorrow. I don't know why you think you have the right to whine so much about a *free* stream. Either accept it or pay a very small amount for much better quality.

It's probably because of the software issues with xsplit updating and so on. Nothing to do with being greedy.

why do people not get it? you dont only pay 5 euro for the stream but for the whole tournament.take invested so much of his own money into this so you are able towatch a fantastic tournament for 4 days and so many guys dont have the balls to support it.

Waste money? It's not a waste, you're paying a small sum of money for great stream quality, no ads and supporting a great tournament.
Remember that the free stream is more or less offered as a courtesy and the bulk of the money is probably made with the paid stream. Either way, it could very well be that the amount of viewers is higher than expected and they had to turn down the quality to keep streaming without lag. That's a reason, right there

If you don't like it, buy the HD pass - if you don't want to spend lousy 5€, then please stop complaining here (it isn't our problem and we don't care).

I don't know what stream you guys are watching, but I'm having the opposite problem.
The free stream used to be fine, but now it's too high quality for me, and eating too much bandwidth. Given that I'm already over my monthly cap, watching at all is very costly for me. I would watch in 240p if I could. That's the good thing about Justin.tv, when I'm low on bandwidth for the month I can just watch things in 240p because it lets you pick stream quality.
