But Ganzi deserves credit too, great play by him. Actually no, Ganzi is not playing well...he just had an early game advantage but his micro was bad the rest of the game. He was playing multipronged attacks but doesn't have the APM for the counterattacks. Doubt he expected the counterattacks even. Ganzi should have bunkered down a bit to stop that ling attacks He has great flanks, but he's lacking MMA or MVP level micro to execute properly.
It's not even that, he just made key decision making mistakes.
- No bunker by his natural when he was ahead at the start, this put him down by ~15 workers from the speedling run by at the start when he was ahead.
- Being stubborn on going Bio+helions against mass bane+lings. Should of went Tanks especially knowing that no mutas are up
- Not turning his 3rd into a planetary.
- Not finishing the 3rd near the end
I feel had he made any of first three points above, he would of won. The last point might of gave him a chance to come back as well.

You can't just theorycraft a game like that. Ganzi had 1 fact reactor pumping hellions which helped him fend off all the ling counters. pumping tanks off 1 factory vs an extremely mobile zerg army isnt going to do anything. Ganzi's plan was to keep map control with both watch towers and with that, he wouldn't need a planetary. Orbitals also give you the lift off option vs mass banelings.
Saying Ganzi "bombed" the late game is perhaps a little too critical...

DRG had just finished a very draining series against qxc with 30-minute and 68-minute games, that likely had something to do with it, they were very close and intense.

It's pretty dumb not to see the amazing potential DRG showed in that game, I don't think there's more than 3 Zergs on the planet that could've come back from being so far behind.

If he went for tanks he would not be able to pressure DRG like he did. He used mobility instead of hard hitting units and almost won because of it. Don't forget DRG is a master of destroying marine/tank tactics
