He won, he was the better player PERIOD
Look, just because a guy was the only undefeated player in his pools and wins the championship title with only 3 loses over the span of three days--two of those loses only coming from the final round in a best of five--does not mean he's a good player okay?
It's not like he's the only foreigner in Code S It's not like he's won an MLG
Why call him a good player right?
Haters gonna hate is all.

so the sugar dady was a pun on the fact that he gives funds to kids playing games.

Agreed. Its absolutely awful that people have to pick holes and find excuses for every little thing that happens. why can't people just enjoy the competitive, exciting games?

Yes Huk is korean and anyone who argues that is delusional. He's a product of korean training and honestly even if Huk had to play in a tougher group he would of still placed top 5. So when foreigners fall out of the GSL, it's because the system sucks but when Huk bust his ass off and succeed, he suddenly became Korean? It sounds like a convenient excuse for the foreign community's lack of effort. He's actually right in a sense. Huk is so skilled now due to living in Korea and playing in that environment. Its not opinion, its a fact

I'd rather watch Polt sweep MMA again. Why didn't Moon deserve to be in the finals? Bomber didn't play exactly inspirational either. And Polt sweeping MMA was the most entertaining thing I saw since Mvp swept MKP. Twice. I'm not making any excuses for Bomber. He really should have advanced after beating MC, but he didn't bring his A game. Since Moon beat him though, I was expecting a way better performance than what I saw. Sloppy play by both throughout and ending it with a 6 pool? Game 4 was already bad enough. People were laughing at the absurdity of a game appropriate for some kind of showmatch, not the finals of a major tournament. I just found it pretty pathetic. it's the dreamhack curse
Dreamhack Invitational: Game 5 of MC v White-Ra 2-2: MC proxy 2 gates inside White-Ra's base Dreamhack Summer: Game 5 of Moon v HuK 2-2 Moon 6 pools HuK

That is the current state of Team Liquid in a nutshell ladies and gentleman. Yes, Huk was lucky that he scouted first, but that is why he sent out the probe scout immediately after the pylon. Though, it always seems like zerg early pools/cheeses get scouted first D:

Not to sound like too big of a dick, but saying that isn't funny and it just makes you look bad. Plus I think HuK is considered to be more of a Canadian, though everyone who supports the Koreans is calling him Korean now since he did well.

Huk winning a tournament with July, Mc, Bomber and Moon. I think he made SC2 history right there! Congrats Huk.

Well done HuK. Looked like he was gonna choke, put he pulled himself together. :D

That's exactly what the foreigners vs. Koeans discussion is about. HuK is essentially a Korean -- he lives with, plays with, and does everything with Koreans in Korea and he has done so for months now.
It should be quite obvious that Korean play is far superior to nonkorean play just by looking at the results of any LAN tournament Koreans attend. Even this Dreamhack was domianted by Koreans to the point that not a single Korean (yes, I include HuK as a Korean) lost to a nonkorean at all.

Breaking revelation:
Top 4 in DH taken by players who train hard. No players who didn't train as hard made it into top 4!

People dub it foreigners vs koreans but if you want the details about what that means i'll give it to you
foreigners (sit on their lazy asses playing 2-5 hours a day while working another job) vs koreans (train 12 hours a day with 20 other people all year round fulltime).
Simple enough right?

That is the current state of Team Liquid in a nutshell ladies and gentleman. Except if HuK didn't get (arguably) lucky in G4 Moon would've had the series at 3-1, so in a sense he got lucky twice, while if Moon won they both got lucky.

again... Canada It was Team USA who won you commies. Trying to steal USA's success.
Considering Team Liquid has many members not from America I don't think you can call them "USA"s team. They're more of a foreigner team.
