Would've been more impressive if it was vs Bomber but I dont know how Huk would have fared against him. Moon beat Bomber. HuK beat Moon. HuK won a championship with Idra, MC, Bomber, July, Moon and a lot of Liquid players. That IS impressive regardless of who of these he beat in the finals. A beats B, B beats C A doesn't beat C That's not how Starcraft works. The outcomes of this tourney would have been drastically different with different bracket draws by day/apollo. (like if Huk had MC -> bomber) SC2 has not reached a point yet where good players win consistently.
what you don't seem to be able to grasp is that one game doesn't ultimately decide who is the better player. it merely decides who played better at the time, i.e. made more correct decisions and made less errors.
on another day bomber could have beaten moon, july could have beaten huk, mc could have beaten bomber. hell, bomber could have been knocked out at the group stage similar to the 'korea powers' during TSL3.
therefore trying to dig deeper than the final standing in a tournament is stupid.

Congrats to Huk, his hard work is paying off. TLO was saying that Huk practices more than the Koreans in the oGs house.
Its ashame people just try and belittle anyone that ever wins a tournament, happens with every single one. Can't you just be happy for the person that won? Huk did exactly what he needed to. Not one player wins a tournament without good luck. Huk won a tournament that featured MC, Bomber, July, Moon, Idra, Naniwa, Thorzain and so many more. I don't care what anyone says, thats fucking impressive.
Oh and I guess that liquid slump is over.

Moon deserved his place since he got to finals, maybe he stumbled in the finals but still pretty amazing from a guy who hasn't been that long involved to starcraft 2. Expecting great results from him in the future!

You're gross. I'm okay with the fact that moon still gets 8k.

DREAMHuK!!! That final was so epic great tournament and I'm glad to see a foreigner win especially one who trains so damn hard. Congratz to HuK and well played to Moon and everyone else who played

I absolutely agree with you, but the second part is wrong, SC2 is essentially an incredibility complex math equation. It's just we get to see beautiful pictures instead of numbers and code.
That's not math then... unless you can prove that SC 2 is solvable, or perhaps you support Penrose's ideas.

HuK congratulations! *clap* *clap* *clap*

I hope this ends the discussion between foreigners vs. Koreans. It's more between work vs. HARD work.

You even heard him say he was surprised to be the last Korean standing. Huk choked like always but Moon mind fucked himself even worse. Terrible, terrible finals. I'd rather watch Polt sweep MMA again. Why didn't Moon deserve to be in the finals? Bomber didn't play exactly inspirational either. And Polt sweeping MMA was the most entertaining thing I saw since Mvp swept MKP. Twice.
I'm not making any excuses for Bomber. He really should have advanced after beating MC, but he didn't bring his A game. Since Moon beat him though, I was expecting a way better performance than what I saw. Sloppy play by both throughout and ending it with a 6 pool? Game 4 was already bad enough. People were laughing at the absurdity of a game appropriate for some kind of showmatch, not the finals of a major tournament. I just found it pretty pathetic.

So is svt.se an actual television channel in Sweden? Or just an online thing? Really impressive coverage, TLO is as eloquent as always.
