So what just happened was HuK countered a build by building cannons to counter a build that Moon wanted to do and assumed HuK would counter so he cancelled his hatch to force him to counter a build that he wasn't going to do but would have countered the build HuK actually did? Is that like recursive metagaming? No. Moon early hatch in the open less protected area so that huk would scout it, then he would cancel after the probe left to all-in. Huk DID NOT SCOUT the hatchery, so Huk though Moon was going to 1 Base all-in and threw up 4 cannons. Moon then cancels his Hatchery (he assumes Huk scouted it) to infact 1 Base All-in. Basically Huk got insanely lucky by not scouting the most wide open expansion.

I'm hoping game 5 isn't a bad choke by huk, that would be epically disappointing and i might start to think SC2 finals of all the big events are cursed (except TSL3 <3)

Fail mindgames ![]() Maybe, but if HuK had seen the natural expansion he wouldn't have scouted for the inbase natural, which means he would have seen Moon still mining gas and making a roach warren before the probe died..
