disagree. They end games you've won. If the game is still somewhat competitive they don't work. They require an insane amount of supporting units. Since their slow your quite vulnerable to drops. So you need to be in a place where you can afford to static deffense with out hurting your eco, meaning a game you've pretty much won.

If you already won, you wouldn't need to end it. If you have ~15+ BLs, unless he has flying antiair, you don't need much if at all supporting units; the broodlings keep you safe as long as your BLs aren't like in the middle of Shattered Temple.

I think according to people on TL about 40-60 players are "code s level" people need to stop throwing that title around, if they were code s level they would be in code s.

The scene is very volitile right now. There are players in code B that are better than some code S players because they fail to qualify because they lose to people trying out for code A who are also better than some code S players and some code S players stay in code S because they get really lucky in their groups and play the one matchup they are remotely good at.

Over a great deal of time the system will work itself out and the cream will rise to the top, but the up and down system they have been using means that if you make it out of your initial group you stay in code S and that means one Bo3 vs the guy who wins the entire GSL code S could be the deciding factor that gets you removed from code S when in fact he may have been the 2nd best player in code S... It's just part of the game, gotta deal with it

Upset that QXC is out, but I mean... DRG is a damn good zerg. I would agree he deserves the spot more but if QXC plays like this in GSTL, he'll definitely be a force to be reckoned with. Who knows really. I wanna see how Oz does.

Yeah~ FXOz for me is the highlight of the qualifiers. The chance of him getting thru is unknown, if he weren't on FXO he'd just be another random player, but I hope karma is with him today!~

There's something about a nice slimy zerg dong that gets me excited about starcraft. First the Jaedong now the Dongraegu... I just can't get enough dong.

damn such shit luck drawing drg there. qxc is damn good. he was number one in NA before he left for spain. dont hold his nasl record against him as he was terribly out of practice. he will do well in gstl.

I like qxc, he's a really cool guy, but #1 in NA? Your judgement has come under question sir...

In terms of skill I would say he was only (hah, "only") top 5 NA, but he did have his stints as the #1 ranked player on ladder. That may have been what jmbthirteen meant.

Good player, just not top 5 NA player, congrats to DRG and best of luck to the rest of the FXO team.

yes thats what i meant. and he was at the top of NA in terms if skill as well.

hell at mlg colombus he only lost to thorzain and select, both 2-1 series that were really good. QXC will do well in korea. he has great multitasking when in practice.

It should be interesting. Seeing how a guy who actually took games off Bisu and Flash and how the skill transfers over to SC2. Kinda exciting.

i gotta say, QXC putting up THAT good of a fight for me is a win in itself. DRG is scary as hell. Even with the hype, he's still one of the scariest zergs on the planet.

Any more SlayerS in Code A would be overkill.
