disagree. They end games you've won. If the game is still somewhat competitive they don't work. They require an insane amount of supporting units. Since their slow your quite vulnerable to drops. So you need to be in a place where you can afford to static deffense with out hurting your eco, meaning a game you've pretty much won.

he was on xeph's stream several months ago, around the time he was the first person in the world to hit 4k points on the ladder

True, it is thrown around a lot, but DRG is clearly code S level. He's beaten some huge names and his showing against sC yesterday was just straight amazing. He's a monster.

Puma
hope DRG qualifies this time around though!

Were the two Protoss players that qxc beat anybody notable or known?

Upset that QXC is out, but I mean... DRG is a damn good zerg. I would agree he deserves the spot more but if QXC plays like this in GSTL, he'll definitely be a force to be reckoned with. Who knows really. I wanna see how Oz does.

Probably unknowns. If they were well known the people in Korea would have definitely notified us :D

QXC doesnt? hes in a 60 minute game against DRG.. Who apparently deserves the spot?... I think your post is bad. But maybe im just caught in the moment.... I'll come out and say qxc definitely does not deserve a spot over DRG. Wish him the best of luck, but it's the truth can you explain why? Because DongRaeGu is definetely a Code S player and just won the LG tournament over sCfou, meanwhile qxc went 1-9 in NASL. I'm not trying to start a fight, just saying i think DRG is more deserving. But if qxc beats him then that is awesome too Agree with this man. I'm pulling for DRG because I think he is a better player and will make better use of the spot. QXC is awesome but I want what is best for GSL; and I think DRG will prove he is better. What's best for GSL is for foreigners to qualify and to show that they can qualify. DRG, in the end, is just another Korean. What's best for GSL is having the best players in the tournament whether it's "just another Korean" (lol) or not. DRG proved why he deserves it. Your post is a little...xenophobic. Your posts are stupid though. The winner of qualifying deserves to be in the GSL no matter who it is, and in this case arguably even the loser does as he pushed the worlds best or 2nd best ZvT to the limit. My post is stupid? I said DRG deserved to be in Code A over QXC because he is better. What happened? He 2-0'd QXC. It will be a better tournament because the better player (DRG) is in. Does that make sense lil' fella? You can't preemptively decide that one player is better when the series is on the line. The winner is the better player. It happened to be DRG, but by the sounds of the live reporting it was close enough that you couldn't just outright say that the deserving winner was going to be DRG. That's ridiculous. Having won a series gives evidence that one is a better player, but it's not an absolute judgement. Do people seriously think that InCa is better than NaDa, whom he beat 3-0 in the GSL? If you look at extended historical results and apparent quality of play, NaDa wins hands-down. That doesn't change because he lost one series, and the same would be true if qxc had beaten DongRaeGu.
Considering what we've seen of them in the past, there's undeniably more evidence to declare DRG to be the better player. It might not be true, but qxc winning that series wouldn't have been enough to prove it.

DRG was streaming before his on-air debut. He had hype before GSTL.
