Eh, almost all the trades were cost effective for sC and the fact he pushed so frequently stopped DRG just expanding as he wanted. The only time things were truly scary were when sC lost a lot of marine support, but the first time out he had turrets at home in time to deal with mutas and the second time he could sac his main push since it had done the necessary damage and instead take out the fourth with his reinforcements.
sC's macro was also fantastic.

I think DRG hurt himself swappign to infestor tech while that constant continuous waves kept coming. Like as astounded as the commentators were about the pushes that kept coming DRG probably was just as amazed he kept doing it and thought infestor woulda been better. But I think DRG mighta been better off sticking to what he kpt doing and hopefully found a window inbetween/wore sc down to win that way.

SC kept the pressure up which meant DRG could not out expand him.
It was a freaking awesomely well played game by SC and he well deserved the win.

i love how sc mapped out his building production and expansion timings. when artosis kept saying SC was behind, SC was actually a bit ahead in supply after those fights 'til maybe the 3rd attempt. just relentless.
Wonder if the Vods of the special tournament finals will be free.

Looks like you didn't watch the game very clearly. SC was always macroing and pushing his economy behind his push. DRG mostly had units coming out during the fights, not things economy related. Poor usage of those expensive infestors cost him the game. Too many died without doing anything.
Sc also did a lot of drops and had a heavy focus on denying DRG's economy while pumping up his own.

Artosis was completely lost in that game, DRG never had more workers than sC and at one point was behind a base, DRG played very well considering he had less stuff almost all the time but sC was NEVER behind(no need for zerg tears is my point here).

Somehow, I feel like DRG had issue against Medivac because he rather kill off the medivac over killing the tank. I really hope zerg has a capability to disable caster like protoss and terran...

Yeah i think the late expansions did win it for him. But whats annoying is because SC only does really harsh timings i'm not really sure that DRG could have gotten bases up more quickly and held the push.
