Interesting how Prime's players shine again nowadays

Prime is in their Prime again
Polt was right about luck

and polt wins yet another series he doesnt deserve.

Bullshit. Polt outplayed Top so badly in those last two games.

are you serious? TOP played so badly.. Just because polt played better, doesnt mean he played well or deserved to win.

TOP lost about 18 SCV that game, but still maintained a SCV lead rofl

Polt made better decisions throughout that game. Macro can get you that far.

no, TOP made worse decisions. Polt is incapable of making good decisions. the sooner everyone realises hes way overrated, the better.

When was he EVER overrated? I'd say he was underrated the whole tournament and people have now finally come to realize how amazing he actually is after beating so many players to come to the finals. NOW STFU and stop bashing a player who deserved this.

have you even watched one of his games? he plays so badly > <

so first you try and bash mkp in his own fanclub thread
now you try to undermine how polt played better than top

what are you against Team Prime having some (even if its a silver) success or what?

its disgusting how people like you act like you are all rational and justified

Dude...

GSL Opening Season:
Winner: 100,000,000 KRW (aprox. $85,700 USD)
Runner-Up: 30,000,000 KRW (aprox. $25,700 USD)
Semi-Finalists: 10,000,000 KRW (aprox. $8,600 USD)
Quarter-Finalists: 4,000,000 KRW (aprox. $3,400 USD)
Round of 16: 2,000,000 KRW (aprox. $1710 USD)
Round of 32: 500,000 KRW (aprox. $430 USD)
Round of 64: 300,000 KRW (aprox. $260 USD)

SUPER Tournament.

The only thing different would be the exchange rate. It is the same if u stayed in korea and used won. And if u had 100,000,000KRW from then it would be a 100 grand now as well

Really? according to what i read the Ro64 gets nothing at Super Tournament, while at GSL Opening they did. Plus Ro32 gets more at Super Tournament!

This. Pretty sure that the champion is going to be someone who only played TvT -_- wish he had faced Alicia so he would've gotten knocked out.

Why are people still underrating Polt? When MMA goes down 2-0 and then comes back, it's all 'OH MY GOD, THIS GUY IS AMAZING! MKP MADE ZERO MISTAKES AND HE IS GOD!', but when Polt comes back, it's all about how TOP threw the game away and Polt got lucky.

I think Polt and MMA are both great players with weaknesses. MMA has a pretty weak opening game, but has a variety of builds that can surprise. Polt isn't the greatest macro player on the planet, but has really good decision making.

Both players 100% deserve their spot in the final. Polt arguably just took out the guy who has the best TvT macro in the entire world, so I don't think he should be taken lightly.

Neither MMA or Polt rolled over their challenger today, so I wouldn't say either look much better than the other. You could argue MarineKing is better than TOP, but the dude's TvT is off the charts.

I've actually given up trying to remain objective and to argue against just plain inaccurate assessments of players skills by a lot of the forum users here.

It's pretty clear that they've got preconceived notions of who are the best players and can't remain objective and open minded enough to accept that skill level changes and even the best players can have a bad day.

Nothing we say can ever change it.

The quarter finalists, and Ro32 players get more in the super tournament, but the Ro64 players get nothing in the super tournament while they got a small amount of money in the open seasons. All other prize money is the same in each round.

Its pretty amazing to think that that banshee at the start of the game may have cost TOP at least $19000 and as much as $80000.

I feel like Fionn and pdd are the only ones that understand me T_T

Can we find our own thread where we discuss how good the games were rather than having to spend our time defending bashed-upon players for, I don't know, actually playing good and doing that winning thing?

Also unlike Nestea/MC/MVP who have proven they can win in the Grand Finals, we've never seen either of these guys under that amount of pressure with such a big cash prize on the end of it. MMA and Polt, record wise, are the two best players currently in the world with how good their results show. I think you could say MMA is the favorite, but you have to remember that he is prone to stumbling; you can't forget he is still in Code A after getting 2-0'd by Huk, in a match most people thought was going to be a simple victory for him.

I dunno, I'm hyped for the finals and will be writing a little something about it later.

Maybe make a LR for whine/imba/haters/LR and a thread with discussion about the games (not a LR, just discuss what happens) and instaban for trolls...

People will always feel the need to bash something. I believe all 10 games today were recommended and people still feel the need to bash something lol.
