We will be moderating harshly in this thread. Think twice before you post. Things we are watching for: image macros, balance whining, "eagles", player bashing etc. We encourage civil and reasoned critique of our moderation - please post it in the website feedback forum.
Please don't complain about MLG stream quality or MLG itself. They work very hard to provide you with an enjoyable service.
Enough with the racism discussions, this is a LR Thread. Cut it out. -- updated 7:55 KST |

Why is that sad? I like InControl, but personally I prefer having the top 16 players get to pool play, rather than enter open bracket (where anything can happen).

I really don't get why results from the pool stages are being brought over for extended series in the knockout phase. In a standard double elim bracket, I can sort of get it but when you have round robin and then a knockout phase after that, why is it applied?

Only the top 4 from the pools get a second chance.

I don't think you should be too concerned. He's more than capable.

Incontrol was 4th in points. He will easily be in Pool Play for the next event. He should have between 910-940 points.

as a toss is hard to get a read on this, but your best response is to get 90 probes yourself.
Otherwise, if you kill ~10 scvs you are only doing the terran a favor
Select only got 90 SCVs to build on his lead and pretty much guarantee success, InControl was behind on probes all game long because of the later third/expo, the marine attack, etc.
InControl played very greedy with 1gate robo and paid for it. Personally I would've done it too since he saw the 1rax FE, just didn't see the other 3 raxes going down.

I'm not sad at all, I think his skilllevel is far below other american players.
